DC fighting game, Injustice: Gods Among Us, has a release date. Warner Bros. will release the game in the U.S. on April 16th for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U. Europe will get the game on April 19th.

Aside from the regular edition of the game, Warner Bros. will be releasing two special versions as well—a collector’s edition and a battle edition. Details on these are as follows:

Collector’s Edition – $100 / £74.99 / €99.99

As previously reported, the collector’s editions between the U.S. and Europe will be slightly different. This is what Europe is getting:

Europe will get a statue featuring Batman and Wonder Woman, steelbook packaging, an Injustice comic book, and three skins for Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman from the DC COMICS – THE NEW 52 comic book series.

Meanwhile, the U.S. will get a different statue featuring Batman and Wonder Woman, steelbook packaging, an Injustice comic book, three skins for Batman, Superman and Wonder woman from THE NEW 52, and also a downloadable copy of the Justice League: Doom movie.

Finally, the battle edition appears to be exclusive to the U.S. and will include an Injustice arcade stick and the three DLC skins from THE NEW 52. It will cost $150.

Oddly enough until today, I thought this game was PS3 exclusive

  • Looks like I’ll be waiting to order from Europe :S

Still not sold on the game, but I can tell you I would pay for the extras alone :p

Need to play it myself I guess. It doesn’t look that much like a MK game and I like that, but I still don’t know what to make of it.

  • Honestly, it would be nice if there was a version that combined the good stuff from all three versions for alittle bit extra, other than that I’m still looking forward to the game.
