The Cave Arrives On Nintendo eShop For Wii U This Week

Nintendo 3DS eShop Update:


This week’s Nintendo eShop update brings a demo for Brain Age: Concentration Training to the Nintendo 3DS, along with a downloadable version of Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Shadow Wars strategy game.


Also available on the 3DS eShop is Super C, the NES sequel to Contra, for $4.99. Finally, Cocoto Alien Brick Breaker (pictured) costs $4.99.


Wii U eShop Update:


The Wii U eShop is actually getting a game this week—The Cave, developed by Double Fine Productions and published by Sega. The Cave is an adventure game-cum-platformer by Ron Gilbert, creator of the Monkey Island series, and costs $14.99.

European eShop Update:


Europe gets The Cave this week on the Nintendo eShop as well, but are also getting a free demo for the game. In Europe, The Cave costs €12.99/£9.99. Additionally, Mighty Switch Force: Hyper Drive Edition is getting a 30% discount on the Wii U eShop (from €9.99/£8.99 to €6.99/£6.29) until Feb. 7th.


Meanwhile, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed now has a Wii U demo as well, and Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth is available as a download title.


On the 3DS front, Europe gets free download content for New Style Boutique (known as Style Savvy: Trendsetters in the U.S.) and a new eShop game—Picross e2, developed by Jupiter, for €4.99/£4.49.
