its like dynasty warriors combat, just 20x worse, save your money and buy a better game.

  • Aksys+psp=love.

  • I enjoy these type of games, I still have to play my copy of the first one. Does this follow that one or self-contained?

    • LynxAmali

Sort of. It’s more hack and slash.

One story follows the events of the original with the other being slightly different.

      • I meant I like hack and slash type games.
        Thanks for the info.

  • Chogokin

The games mediocrity surpassed my expectations.

Heisuke… I love you. *fangirl moment*

not to sound sexist or anything but im 90% sure this is one of those bishounen games that appeals to the girl gamer crowd. didnt know the market was that tempting to get localizations but it is aksys

Well if we have demon rubbing games and titles where clothes blast off female characters while they do martial arts, I’d say that a little equal opportunity male objectification is just fine. I have minimal interest in the game, but I will be supporting it just because it is different.

Right, because ALL gamers want to play games overly-sexualizing women and kids. If I want to see boobs, I can look at my own. Same with my body. Surprise, surprise, there’s a market for these types of games (Hakuoki). I really can’t believe that you’d think the gaming market caters ONLY to men, as it would seem from your comment “didn’t know the market was that tempting”. I for one will buy this as soon as it hits the PSN (here’s to hoping it does!). I already got the original Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom. Hakuoki is pretty tame too, for a game that supposedly caters to women. If I was a guy I’d probably play it anyway, what with it being a fighting game and having actual roots in Japanese history.
Keep the Hakuoki games comin’ :D

Seriously? They forgot to add that Shinpachi Nagakura is playable? WTF! He’s like the only reason why Im getting this game! D<
I could care less about the others. Shinpachi Nagakura FTW! <3
