Update: Officially announced. New information reflected in report below.

Star Wars pinball tables are headed to Zen Pinball 2 (PS3/Vita cross-buy) and Pinball FX2 (Xbox Live Arcade) as DLC, and to Zen Pinball on the Apple App Store and Google Play as well.

The first pack of tables in the Star Wars collection will include Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, Boba Fett and Star Wars: The Clone Wars. You’ll be able to post scores to global leaderboards, play in-game friend challenges, local hotseat and online multiplayer, and use other features.

Zen Studios are developing the Star Wars pinball tables in partnership with Lucasarts. “Our designers are huge Star Wars fans, and you can expect every detail in every table to reflect their passion for the Star Wars universe,” said Neil Sorens, Zen Studios’ Creative Director.

You can visit the official website for the Star Wars pinball tables here. Zen Studios also shared a trailer for the tables, which you can watch above.

More Zen is always a good thing.

Meh, it’s the 2nd Clone Wars series. I’d rather something from Episode III TBH.

Also, who else thinks the original Clone Wars min-series was better than the current show?

  • Pinball pinball pinball! Wish Zen could create some sort of “Zen” account so I didn’t have to buy these tables 10 times on 10 different systems! ;) At least PS3 & PSP Vita are tied together.

    • This. I wish they would do something like this as I own an awful lot of tables on 360, but would like to play them on the WiiU once that releases. At the same time though, I can understand their apprehension to do so since repurchasing tables probably gets them a fair little bit of profit. =
