Fire Emblem: Awakening’s Aversa Leads Men To Ruin

By Ishaan . February 11, 2013 . 8:30am

The last three character profiles for Fire Emblem: Awakening are now up on the Nintendo 3DS Facebook page. These characters aren’t quite as… likeable as the ones you’ve seen so far.

Our character spotlight from Fire Emblem Awakening today is Gangrel, a wild and ruthless king of Plegia who once took sick pleasure in hurting others.

Aversa from Fire Emblem Awakening is our character spotlight today. She is a cunning vixen who uses her beauty to lead men to ruin.

The Fire Emblem Awakening character spotlight concludes with Walhart, an unforgiving man who forged the Valmese Empire. He hates cowards and believe the only way to unite the world is through absolute power.

Fire Emblem: Awakening is available now in North America. Europe will get the game in April.

  • Brimfyre

I’m so torn right now. I can’t decide who I want my Tactician to marry. Aversa, Tiki or (Spoiler Character). Damn.

    • Exkaiser

Well, Aversa hasn’t been released on Spotpass yet, so that should narrow your choices.

    • Suicunesol

Aversa is recruitable? o_o She looks like an antagonist.

      • She is, but the antagonists are made available through spotpass missions later.

(all three of the ones in this article fall under that)

        • MrTyrant

But you can’t marry her…can you?

          • Oh yes, you can. She only has Support conversations with her kid and spouse though. Same with the Gangrel and Walhart, if it’s with the female Avatar.

          • MrTyrant

            She has a kid?

Oh my gawd, do want. I would pay a lot for extra content like this.

          • All three of them are free of charge; you just have to wait for their SpotPass release.

As for her kid, it’s just that she can be the mother to Avatar’s kid. She doesn’t have her own designated child like Lissa, Cordelia, etc.

          • MrTyrant

All of them free? with marriage and support events? seriously, even villains? this is like my dream game. OH MAN.

Well, when I said i would pay I was talking in general, like any game with datim seems elements or different ending for characters. I would even pay a lot for extra stuff like that and not just simply cameos like most games.

          • Christopher Nunes

Them too…? Hell no, especially Gangrel…. just noooo.>:(

          • Eh, don’t worry too much. I’m not going to spoil too much, but from the spoilers I’ve read, they sound okay.

          • Christopher Nunes

Regardless… what they did in the story (mostly Gangrel) I’m not having my Avatar/MU get near them. Though I guess Walhart is OK in a way, but we’ll see.

          • Enma_Kozato

Yeah, you can. MU is the only character who can support and marry the spotpass characters. I’m personally waiting for Priam, but he’s not coming out for quite a while.

    • Raltrios

I originally was stuck between Cordeila, Tharja, and Tiki, but I’ve managed to narrow it down to Cordelia and (Spoiler Character).
      Still stuck nonetheless…

    • puchinri

Even though Chrom and Lon’qu are my priorities, I do want to marry a couple of the ladies as well (and I know there are other guys I want to wife/hubby up). This game is great at shipteasing and playing with people’s hearts.

      • “I can only imagine the number of fanfics revolving around the night of conception for every single possible couple in Awakening.”
        — A friend of mine

“And then every single non-couple for an encore.”
        — Me

        • Christopher Nunes

          Hehe… that’s funny.

Speaking of “Conception”… how is that PSP game doing in Japan? You know, the one where the Protagonist has his kids come venturing into dungeons with him to save another world? And where he has to bond with the Zodiac girls, and his classmate, to get the kids as well?

          • Conception, huh. It’s off-topic on this page, so I’ll reply to you in Open Thread.

          • Christopher Nunes

            Oh, right. Sorry about that. ^_^;
To the Open Thread I go…

        • puchinri

          Exactly. Haha.

  • zackner

I would leave duped by Avesa if I tell the truth XD

  • I wont be ruined by you Aversa!

    (Glances at her)

There’s nothing in this world you can do to win me over!

    (Glances at her again)

I don’t care how nice your smile is and how beautiful you are!

(Glances at her up and down as she smiles at me)

………”Sigh,” what do you want me to do?

    • Christopher Nunes

All your love… and a sacrificial body. >:)

  • ragingmerifes

Ruin me as much as you want.

    • Arrei

But that gives her an additional 50% crit chance!

  • Totally not villainous :P

    • Didn’t you know? Evil is sexy! At least according to TVTropes.

      • Leon_Tekashi

Only when done right though. =x

        • I know. I was just making a TVTropes joke that popped into my head. :D

  • I guess Kozaki must have spilled the entire bottle of No More Heroes ink on his Aversa drawing, because ho~ boy~

  • ShawnOtakuSomething

would love to see Aversa in a swim suit……..What? Don’t give me that look

    • (Stares at ShawnOtakuSomething)…………

Smiles and gives a thumbs up. ^_^

      • ShawnOtakuSomething

    • Christopher Nunes

I approve of this message. :)

    • Christopher Nunes

Really… on her chest? Damn! Avatar is one lucky guy! :D

So… when do we get Aversa and Emmeryn to the party? I want them so bad! I’ve already beaten the game and now I’m working on the Support Conversation before I start an entire new game!

  • Sergio Briceño

She can ruin me any day. Or the other way around I don’t care.

  • Göran Isacson

You know? I have the strangest feeling that these people… are bad guys. Iredeemable ones, even. Wonder where that comes from. Also, that spine contortion.
