Hyperdimension Neptunia App Ready To Talk On Your iPhone

By Ishaan . February 11, 2013 . 7:30pm

NIS America have released a Hyperdimension Neptunia app for iPhone and iPod Touch, and it’s free. The app comes with a clock function and has a “Touch!” button that makes characters from the Neptunia series, Neptune and Noire, react differently depending on the time and date.

Different reactions have been included for morning, lunch, and evening. Reactions are also included for Christmas, birthdays, Valentine’s Day and so on. You can also use an alarm function to have Neptune and Noire wake you up.

While the base app is free, you can pay to download additional features.

The full paid version includes a “Like” metre that fills up the more often you use the app. Failing to use the app for even a single day resets the Like metre to zero. There are three levels to the Like metre, and filling each one makes Neptune and Noire say something different when you tap the Touch button.

Additionally, a you can also take pictures with the two characters and share them using your Twitter.

Finally, there’s DLC for extra costumes and voice sets, too. You can read up on that here.

Wasn’t there an Android version released in Japan too? How come the US doesn’t get both versions?

    • NISA released it on IPhone only but they changed it abit

      • $24431191

        What did they change?

    • Flandre Scarlet

They’ve stated that it was not cost-effective enough to localize the Android version, since they have no idea how the iOS version will even do, and it’s apparently significantly more difficult to program the Android version than the iOS.

Apparently they’re willing to localize the Android version if the iOS version drums up good money, but we’ll see. This isn’t the first time NISA’s backed out of an Android title.

        Well that sucks.

Unfortunately I only have an Android so I won’t be able to get it.

  • Raharu95

Already got it. About to buy Noire

Thank you for the news but this breaks my heart… I will never be able to get a wake-up call form my beloved Noire-sama. : ^ :

    • Muffum

Actually, the Q&A section on the site says that the app is available in all regions except Japan (since, naturally, a Japanese version already exists). So now it just becomes a matter of affording the proper phone.
Yes, buy Noire’s love. Buy all of her love.

      • oh okay, so the only thing left is robbing a bank to afford one. *nods* hopefully it’ll stay available for a while!

Thank you I’ll make sure to buy it some day! :3

  • Godman

Android users have money too you know, do not deny me Noire!

All in all I have pretty good faith that this is coming over to us as well…soon

Failing to use the app for even a single day resets the meter to zero.

    Woah, these girls are high maintenance. -_-;;

…No, it’s a perfectly reasonable proposition, and I can borrow my bro’s iPhone. It seems Lady Luck is smiling upon me. I SAY BRING IT.

  • AkuLord3

  • Zoozbuh

Oooh, interesting. Normally apps like this never get translated *q*

  • Raharu95

Wish they would have brought the Android Version over. Maybe sometime later? I mean, they already got the voices. Or maybe whatever happened to Disgaea unbound will happen to this as well :(

  • The Japanese version is available worldwide as well so if you prefer the Japanese voices, you can have that too!! Though sadly, noire seems to be locked on the free version so you have to pay to unlock her…
