been up all night waiting for this, tbh i’m scared shitless
no idea what to expect. holding out for both some good news and some bad

either way i must find out the fate of my wallet

    • Scott Winters

You and me both. My wallet has a grudge against me.

  • Luna Kazemaru

if u on twitch cut off the chat

    • Mavalex

twitch chat indeed cray cray right now.

      also lol “When’s Marvel?”

  • Rohan Viajar

really want something good out of this, but I have a bad feeling that I’ll just be let down.

  • ShawnOtakuSomething

Hype….Level is about the same level as when the Wii-u was announced. Lets see what we are in for.I’m ready for the PS Move EX 2. Jk

  • Vegeta what does the scouter say about the hype level???
    It’s over 9000!!!

  • I’m actually not that excited because I”m still new with my PS3 and I want a Vita but I am looking forward to what they do next with Playstation.

  • Thank god for dual monitors. Anyway waiting for the thing to start while eating cup noodles…prawn flavour. Any of you get sound?

  • I’m predicting it will be call PS4.

    Official theme song.

  • Hopefully they do better then Nintendo did during the WiiU reveal.

  • oresamawasugoi

    i hope i will not be disappointed…

  • Scott Winters

I don’t usually comment on posts (I comment stalk every last one of you), but when I do, it’s always a live steam.

    Bring on the PS4!

    • raymk

Well now I thinks I is going to be avoiding you from now on ;).

  • Elemiel

Yahoo keeps talking about PS4 announcement.

  • Masa

cant wait to see the games

  • Eric Harris

OMG sony boring. Just show the ******* games not a long winded speech about what PS ******** means.

    • Testsubject909

They got around to it much faster then they did at E3 though. And thankfully kept the pace much better too once they got around to the games.

  • Shit, lag…

  • Scott Winters

    Argh, it done froze/locked.

  • Oh si! Intentare verlo en español pues POR QUE NO? :P

  • why isnt it on?

  • PacNinja

Yeah… I’ll just wait until it’s over and then watch everything. The huge amount of lag I am getting on my end is causing me to miss a lot of footage.

  • doesnt work

    its done?

  • Go2hell66

dunno how i feel about that controller

  • Guest

I don’t like this, I don’t like this one bit. I’ll stick to my PS3 and pick up a Wii U. There’s just something about that much integration of media that doesn’t sit well with me; not for a “home” console.

  • Oh man… at least the vita will get another use lol

  • Rohan Viajar

    past present and future games…
and you only need to buy the same games again! YAY!!!!

(all the joking aside. I hope that’s not the case)

  • Dominic Coradazzi

*sigh* I’m getting raped by lag right now
…btw anyone notice that PS4 is starting to look like a more advanced Wii U but with a shit load of integration?

  • $39420547

you know what i hate about the E3 presentations of the big three? the beginning where they talk about sales and services and all that boring stuff, these guys they are only doing that beginning

    • StarWarudo

      • $39420547

beginning that’s auto-corrector for you, ty for the correction

  • Juan Andrés Valencia

The new Killzone looks absolutely phenomenal.

  • Curan_Altea

The new Killzone looks damn impressive. Graphics are amazing and the gameplay looked great too.

  • ZEROthefirst

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate sold me on the WiiU, everything else is a bonus. Killzone:Shadow Fall just sold me on the PS4 (assumig the price isn’t like the PS3’s original $600).

    • Curan_Altea

I’m thinking somewhere around $400 is likely. They want to actually make sales.

Despite it’s flaws I’m a big Killzone fan. Shadow Fall and Destiny are the only shooters I care about now.

      • Locklear93

The fact that they’re using much more high end, but standard hardware this time instead of custom silicon supports a lower price like you expect, I think.

  • Randy Marsh

    The terrible lag! >X(

  • Vitor Duarte

Soon… Final Fantasy Versus XIII… for the PS4.

    • I’ll give a random thought: if FF Versus is actually a sort of “public codename” for FF XV ? Makes sense if we look back at the effects and consequence of the limelight and expectations caused by the too early announcement of FF XIII…..

  • Ehren Rivers

I missed the very first part of the live stream. Did they comment on whether or not the PS4 would support game discs, or if the system will require an internet connection to play games?

    • Testsubject909

They made no mention to requiring internet connection but made a lot of mention of online connectivity, streaming services and other such things.

Wait for more info is what I say for this. Or for someone else’s answer because I will say. The first 30 minutes of the presentation, for me, was filled with lag so I missed a few statements and segments.

  • Locklear93

If you’d told me going in that the titles that’d most interest me were going to be all western, I’d have called you crazy. That said, InFamous: Second Son, Killzone: Shadow whateveritwas, and Watch Dogs absolutely stole the show for me.

What really pleases me though, is Sony’s good sense step toward more standard hardware. An x86 processor, 8 core or not, is going to be much easier for developers to bring titles to than the cell was, and unified system RAM is a bigger plus than it sounds like. The hardware described in this presentation will really make it easier to bring titles to the platform.

The video sharing feature is also nice, as long as it’s hardware level and not something studios just don’t bother to implement.

    • mirumu

There is some risk that the x86 and all that RAM will allow lazy ports like the PC often seems to get. I hope I’m proved wrong on that suspicion. Time will tell.

      • Locklear93

It’s possible, but there’s a market solution to lazy ports: don’t buy them. I’d rather have the developers who are working on great games spend their time making great games, than fidgeting with getting the most out of notoriously cranky hardware.

While I know the very notion of “multiplatform” is anathema to some here (perhaps not you specifically), reducing the amount of time and labor involved in getting a title up on two platforms is important to smaller studios trying to make the jump from PC to console, or trying to maximize profit in general so they have more to put toward their next project.
