BTW, do we know for sure if Meguro is doing the music in this game or not?

      • Go2hell66

i actually have no clue, but if i had to guess i’d say that wasn’t meguro, it was way too badass

This sounds more like it’s either A. OG Atlus Sound team or B Kenji Ito. So far though it’s looking more A

Based on just listening to the music in the trailers released, I’d say no. I find Meguro has a really easily identified style when he works on SMT games, and that music sounds nothing like what he usually does. Then again, I could be wrong; he might be trying something radically new – or be one of a few composers in the game doing music we’ve just not heard yet.

Ryota Kozuka is composing the music, Kenichi Tsuchiya is directing the sound.

Stop teasing me you had me at “Shin”!

  • Ethan_Twain

I strongly approve of the protagonist wearing different outfits throughout the trailer. The old JRPG “one outfit fits all situations” thing has always bugged me. What’s funny is that this game probably could have gotten away with it better than most – the basic blue coat outfit is neither particularly impractical nor informal and SMT games are hardly known for putting their characters in a wide variety of situations. It’s basically dungeon dungeon dungeon all the time.

loving the new merging cinematic, reminds me of digimon

  • natchu96

And who says this kind of old-school-ish battle system can’t look really awesome?

I’m very excited for this game. Everything looked so cool. The demons, battle music, characters, and the feel of what was going on in the trailer seemed deep. ATLUS does it again! =^_^=

    Dat Battle Theme

  • Ferofax

So… many enemies onscreen… and they’re at least animated now, even if they’re still in 2D. :)

Whenever they bring it over I hope they give IV a cool subtitle like Nocturne.

  • MentalAlliance

    AGH! Announce the localization already!

  • Prinnydoom

Here’s hoping for some localisation. Defiantly a day one buy.

  • imaguni

The battle theme sounds very authentic and I love what I’m seeing!

  • Lazulis

    All the enemies…all the grind…all my money…all my want…!!!!

Featuring Satoru Iwata from the Nintendo series

  • Zeik56

I really love how the UI looks in this game. It’s not something you really think about unless it’s really bad or really good, but Atlus has had some really stylish UI’s in their games recently.

  • ragingmerifes

The music alone is worth importing.

  • Tom_Phoenix

I hope someone translates the trailer. I’m really curious about what they say.
