Square Enix have shared a new trailer for Tomb Raider, that shows off the game’s combat aspect, with a focus on gunplay and upgrading Lara’s weapons. Tomb Raider uses a system by which many of the weapons you can pick up are of low quality and need to be upgraded with parts before they become more effective. Take a look at the trailer below:

Tomb Raider is slated for release on March 5th for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Wow, I’m surprised, but this game is looking really good! Oh, if only I could pre-order it… damn all those new cute Miku nendoroids. ಠ_ಠ

Man, that guy at 1:30 has TERRIBLE peripheral vision. I will give the game this though- it seems like the different elements are actually coming together into something cohesive. At first I was afraid this game would be such a hotch-potch of different factors that the endproduct wouldn’t really be GOOD at any one of them, but what I’m seeing here IS making me more and more confident in the game. We’ll just have to see, I suppose.
