Marvel Heroes MMO Is Heavy On The Destructible Environments

Gazillion Entertainment’s Marvel Heroes MMO looks like it’s big on destructible objects in the environment, and this week, they released a brief trailer that shows off some of the things in the environment that can either break from collateral damage or that you’ll be able to use as weapons. Watch it below:

The Marvel Heroes MMO will be released for PC in 2013.

Voices seem kinda off. Sounds like some guy trying to imitate what they should be.

Also, I hope the destructible environments (used as weapons) are handled well. Usually it turns out to either be OP and forced to be used or a pointless gimmick.

It’s looking to be a pointless gimmick to me. Only time I saw it used as a weapon was Thing smashing stuff with a port-a-potty. Rest of it was just scenery damage. Though it’s hard to really tell the viability of something from this sort of trailer.

It should be character specific in terms of damage. Like really big characters throwing big things around and doing massive damage while less powerful characters can’t lift heavy things and if they want to deal lots of damage they have to relay on exploding objects, laser guns, etc.

Also, yeah, the voices sound really off, the ones that sounded the worst in my opinion were Spiderman and Wolverine, because like you said they were trying to imitate popular impersonations of them with very different voices. And it’s a shame, I really like to see new voice actors try to improve on the characters and even if they try to copy an already good voice actor they could have done better. I mean, it’s Spiderman and Wolverine, they are fan favorites, they had to do better!
