Pokémon Meloetta Giveaway At GameStop Begins Next Week

By Ishaan . February 25, 2013 . 10:00am

On March 4th, the Pokémon Company will begin to distribute the Pokémon, Meloetta, at GameStop stores in North America. Meloetta will be available for three weeks for both Pokémon Black/White and Black/White 2. Here’s a look at her in action:

Meloetta has the ability to change forms mid-battle. When you receive Meloetta from GameStop, you’ll receive the Pokémon in its Aria form at level 50, with a Normal/Psychic type combination. When battle calls for it, Meloetta can change to its Pirouette form, which converts it to a Normal/Fighting type.

Meloetta will come with the moves Close Combat, Teeter Dance, Psychic, and Round. The GameStop distribution will last until March 24th.

Now which move should I replace with for Relic Song?

How does this stuff work? I just got Pokemon White 2, how far do I have to get to be able to receive this if I open it and start playing. Just to the first Pokecenter?

Also, do you just go to Gamestop and connect to Wifi to receive it or what?

You can get it from the very beginning – or where ever you are in the game – since it isn’t a story-based event.

Though I’m not from the States, I’ve been to one in the UK, and yes, you just go in to the participating store and download via the WiFi to get Meloetta downloaded to your game and just enter any Pokecenter with a free party slot.

Yes to both. You can just stand outside the Gamestop, get it over the internet, and have it pickupable by a NPC in the Pokecenter.

      Have to get the pokedex.

So, do I need to have beaten the Elite Four to be able to acquire this? I really want to get this Pokemon and need to know whether I have to stop my second playthrough of FE and complete White to be able to acquire it? Or can I get it just with the spot in the game I’m already at (3 gyms down!)?

  • IsaacGravity

Ah, thanks for the reminder about this. I honestly forgot all about it. Best of all it’s also doable in our B/W versions.

Now I need to get someone to get me a copy of Pokemon Black. I swear Meloetta has been coming out forever now.
