Ryu is ready to fight demons on PlayStation Vita gain. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus comes out in a few hours and this version has a couple of new features.

Ninja Race has players run through a stage and swiftly cut through enemies to make it to the goal before time runs out. Tecmo Koei also made the female fighters Ayane, Rachel, and Momiji appear in the game more often. Pick tag mode and you can switch between Ryu and an AI controlled partner you choose.

For newbie ninjas, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus has hero mode. This automatically turns on auto block, auto evade and makes Ryu more powerful with a damage boost as well as a higher chance to dismember foes.

Combat looks so much better than NGS+. Probably this up when i get a chance (after Soul Sacrafice comes out)

There is a great difference between the core gameplay of the first two NG games. but I hear NGS+ was locked at 30 fps, which could possibly not make it as smooth as it was before.
But the first NG is definitely a “slower” methodical game compared to its sequel. That doesn’t mean this one is any less methodical just a lot faster, at least on the consoles. I have no idea what fps this game is running at, but I’ll be picking up this game today. Last I played this, I was playing the 360 version… crap ton of enemies swarming you it’s not even funny :(

NGS+ was 30FPS and I think this one is too. Didn’t hinder gameplay at all IMO. Its just that like you said, NGS+ is slower and I felt it was extremely defensive for an action game. Could be that I’m bad, but most of my attacking came from countering since I always felt like I needed to be defensive =.

I know what you mean… those grab spams

*sigh* it looks like (new) TN has failed me again…
    The gore actually
slows that game down, the fps is locked at 30 but it still has slow
downs, there is no online play, cutscenes are prerendered and no
japanese audio option… (before anyone bashes me, NGS+ for Asia had the option).
I don’t think I am going to buy TN games at launch, at least not until I hear some feedback about the game first.
    That’s
    3 times in a row that they’ve failed me (NG3, DOA5 and this). I say NG3
not because it’s a bad game, but even if you knew the mechanics of the
game inside out, the various glitches and untested gameplay were just
    poor…
I hope at least they patch it… unlike vanilla NG3…

The gore doesn’t slow it down. I get the same thing when I shut it off. I find the easier difficulties run better, but yeah. If you notice to, when things get hectic the games resolution drops to try to hold together. It’s good, playable, but the framerate really should be better. Team Missions in the state they’re in should have been taken out completely.
