I love them for making the best thing about AC3 which is the naval battles to its own game

  • MrRobbyM

    Snow? Is that you?

    • Exact same thought when I saw his hair..

      • Nightmesh

I stop caring for AC after brotherhood but if they got the same VA for snow for this guy I would pick it in a heartbeat.

        • Masa

          Snow sucked.

          • Symbol de Au

Hero’s don’t care if you think they suck.

          • Nightmesh

Yes but that didn’t stop his smexy train now did it?

    • The heroes always win!

    • Symbol de Au

Oh my gosh you mean I’m not the only one that thought that?

    • igotareallybigthingwithcars

I hope he can summon SHIVA in lightning speed

  • Luis Enrique

That couldn’t be any less unimaginative.

  • PABLO Rapetti Perez

The only expectation I have from this game is to be able to jump grabbing a rope from one ship to the other in the peak of a fierce storm. That would surely be epic and a must get for me (Pirates of the Caribbean 3 is the cause of this wish). Being that said, the yearly releases did it for me, after brotherhood I didn’t feel inspired to try any other one.

  • Kickersu18

Thats good for the next PS Vita AC Game, because i hope they continue the story of AC Liberation. I dont want a port.

  • Tylor Boreas Makimoto

…Still waiting for AC 3DS to get remade into something else.
(Yes, I realize Lost Legacy became Revelations; I mean a new title alla Liberations)

  • Derek E Nay

Wait… Though I never got in to the AC series, I though it was supposed to be a trilogy. Oh well, another series that got too good for itself.

  • shion16

    Thanks but no thanks

    I love AC2 , I love AC2 Brotherhood but i had enough.

    • heartless141

i’m playing Revelations now, X_X this game is not even stealth anymore. they forgot to actually make a stealth game they’ll have to make paths that you can sneak through, not path you have to kill less enemies to go through. excessive guards on the roof killed it for me

  • $39420547

let it rest a bit ubi

  • Tonton Ramos

Uhhh? what about the PS4 and the Xbox 720 version of this game since they are coming near and we’re in the start of a new console age. But I’m happy Assassin’s Creed 4 will still be in the PS3 and Xbox 360. I’m sorry please forgive me just filling the empty cup whether it’s old or new.

    • Solomon_Kano

It’ll probably be cross gen like Watch Dogs. They may announce that on Monday, so they’ve something to show for it.

  • Nivans

Not getting Wii U version this time, after how slow they are to release DLC there, it’s just not worth it

    • Emmanx26

      did you buy DLC?
DLC is not good dude , the games before were complete games and had no DLC, you had to finish the game to get the additional content, not like now.
Say no to the DLC XD
P.S sorry for my english -_-

  • dotzeno

My interest in this series died with AC2:Brotherhood and then it came back to life with AC3, only to die again. Think it’ll stay this way until they find a way to combine the entire series into one collection, many years from now.

I can’t believe they made Desmond’s story so much less impressive since the first Assassin’s Creed. Although, I’m starting to understand why the previous subject went nuts. So many personalities to go through.

  • XiaomuArisu

    that was fast!

  • Guest

argh same formula!? i’m sorry but i’m rather sick of the animus and it’s filler quality which for the most has no place in the main story. i loved the first because i was a real assassin who killed only for the greater good, because the story was generally interesting, but now it’s gotten convoluted and

    • Ssylex

… apparently “Guest” was assassinated before finishing. Requiesce in pace.

  • SirRichard

Given how fast this was announced, I’m guessing that their secondary team(s) are basically recycling a lot of III and filling in the gaps. I’m likely to skip this one, odds are with 12 million sales for the last one, Ubisoft aren’t going to change anything.

    • Solomon_Kano

Not necessarily. According to past talk from Ubi, this team was working on this while AC3 was being made. We’ll see how much that changes, but I don’t think they’d give a whole press conference to some incremental update. I mean, even AC3 didn’t get one.

      • SirRichard

With III breaking the series’ sales record, Assassin’s Creed is basically their flagship series right now. They’re going to give it the red carpet treatment to help build hype, I imagine.

And besides, ACIII was in the works for years and still ended up a glitch-ridden frustrating mess, so this one also being in the works for a while doesn’t inspire confidence anyway.

        • Solomon_Kano

That time says nothing of bugs, true, but I’m just saying it may be more than recycling AC3.

I still think it’s odd that they didn’t give AC3 this treatment since that was the all-time high for the series’ hype. This… I don’t know. A press conference seems a bit much coming right on AC3’s heels. So I figure this should be something significant.

i loved the first because i was a real assassin who killed only for the greater good, because the story was generally interesting and teased for greater things in the future, but now the story has no structure, now i’m just playing as murderers who seek to satisfy their revenge and brute force their way through guards who are just trying to make a living and doing their duty

this series needs a reboot, either that or it will become the new rabbids games

    • Symbol de Au

Honestly I thought the first one sucked. I’ve played two others. (which I liked) I haven’t played Brotherhood or ACIII but I don’t think any other in the series could be as bad as the first…

      • I think AC2 and Brotherhood were the most favored ones of the series. Not sure about Revelations.

        • Symbol de Au

I heard that. As for Revelations I heard some people thought it wasn’t different enough from Brotherhood so they didn’t like it. I wouldn’t know though.

  • hmmmm the cover seems so sloppy…maybe its just me :v

  • Solomon_Kano

Wonder if they’ll do another spin-off for Vita to accompany this? This team was apparently developing 4 parallel to the team working on 3, but the Vita team wouldn’t have had any time so I’m assuming no. I like the idea of these little companion pieces on portables while the main games happen on consoles.

    • neo_firenze

Absolutely agree, having a separate but semi-related portable companion game (same time period, etc.) is an idea I also like. The Vita AC:Liberation was a pretty good game too, and an interesting character. Ubi also seemed to take Liberation very seriously as a high end portable game (as opposed to some devs putting our garbage that just relies on the brand recognition), which is to be commended. And it’s a way better approach than just releasing a dumbed down port of the console game.

Would be very cool to see a portable companion to AC4 following this trend. Maybe set it on a stop on the pirate routes that you briefly visit or hear about during the console AC4 game? Or in a trading outpost that has some tie-in to whatever pirate story is told in AC4. Some juicy possibilities.

      • Solomon_Kano

Yea, I think there are a lot of possibilities considering 4’s theme. Perhaps we could even play as one of the other pirates 4’s protagonist meets, yet have his adventures take place further away. They could use that opportunity to show places we may not see in a console game. Being a pirate over around China and India would be pretty awesome.

  • Suriel Cruz

so many Assasin’s Creed games and I barely finish the second one… not because I didn’t like it…

  • Jrocy247

Once again, another wasted opportunity to put the AC series in the settings of Feudal Japan, Victorian England, or China, the places where it would make sense, especially Feudal Japan. Ninjas=Assassin…but nope….PIRATES!!!

  • LynxAmali

I’m really not liking this being a yearly franchise.

    • maggosh

  • AlteisenX

Technically this is like Assassin’s Creed 12 or some outrageous number, right? There’s the two PSP/Vita ones, the DS ones, the iOS/Android(Is there an Android one?) and the 3 “2’s”, and the first and third game. Jeez…

  • AverageGamers

Wow… why so fast? I haven’t even had the chance to play the 3rd game… and the talk about AC4 is already here wow…

  • KingGunblader

No thanks, I’ll just wait for the eventual compilation of the post-2 games.

  • Göran Isacson

Well… THAT was quick. Wonder who this assassin is though, looks like he’s got blond sideburns… first caucasian Assassin? Not sure how that will go over.

  • brian

AC3 was also leaked iirc, I’m sensing a trend with these games.

  • Another one? Good lord, guys. Slow down…

  • Thankful4JRPGs

Nice! Who doesn’t like a good pirate? Especially when that pirate is an assassin! Liking the vibe! Go Ubisoft!

  • FFmax

Jesus Christ it never ends. They’re milking this as bad as those damn Rabbids.

  • Mar Mar

Can’t they just make a spin off AC game where its focus is mainly on Stealthing? Or something like no one must see your face the whole game when doing missions since you are a dangerous assassin.

It just doesn’t make since when I’m an assassin and having fun in the city while the guards doing nothing.

  • LonelyGamer

Wake me up when we have Assassin’s Creed V Ninja version

  • Can’t wait to see more about this game.

  • Oscar

Didn’t Assasin’s Creed III came out like a month ago

  • Emmanx26

All companies are trying to be like activision now -_-‘
    damn you COD.
