I know so many people are gonna play as Yugito. Personally I like Yagura`s style better though!

Really? I’m pretty sure it’s going to be the other way around. Cool characters, specially cool looking kid characters are usually the ones picked the most by kids and that is the main audience of this game.

I think I like Roushi’s fists of fire better myself, but I’m not the kind of gamer to “main” a character. If there is one character slot I absolutely like selecting is “random” it’s, for the most part, the best choice in brawlers if you are just looking to have some fun.

In fighting games I usually just get really good at a couple of characters rather than being mediocre with all of them. I haven`t really played a Naruto fighting game before though, so I guess they may not be as deep / balanced as say Soul Calibur 2. If the game is mostly about spamming this and that ability while conserving chakra (which is what it looks like) then I suppose selecting “random” every time is as good as anything.

That said though, wouldn`t you say that claws, agility and a badass Nekomata transformation would be conceived as “cooler” by most kids (at least the ones that aren`t busy playing as Madara) before a dude who shoots coral reefs and transforms into a turtle? I don`t know :p

Well. about the cool thing, no. It’s a kid, with a scar and ahoge. If that weren’t enough, he was the previous mizukage and has the “I’m a cool kid so I keep my compusure” personality anime fans usually like (until they get too cool, but luckily for him, he hasn’t had that much screen time). The girl on the other hand is too general looking and well, a girl. You know something is wrong when you see a general looking girl in anime/games.

About the random thing, no, again. Random is always fun, using the same couple of characters is boring for both parties, unless you are mainly an online player which means you don’t necessarily play with the same people all the time and usually care about winning and not having fun. And no, when I say you, I don’t mean you you, but people in general. Because I know you just main a couple of characters but I don’t know for sure if you are mainly an online gamer.

We have had many fighting games in recent years, but it’s been more than a decade since we had a leap in difficulty. Brawlers have become a lot more casual and NSUNS is no stranger to that. It’s a fairly easy game, with little to no difference between characters, so my advice to you would be to try them all, after all, the main appeal of the game is how pretty it looks and if you just use two characters you are missing out on a lot.

Ha ha, oh man- playing as Roshi and Yugito and playing out the battles against the Akatsuki members which we were so gloriously robbed off. That’ll feel good, man. That’ll feel REAL good.
