Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D is headed to the Nintendo eShop in North America this week at a reduced price, Capcom have announced. The eShop version will be available for $20.

Meanwhile, over in Japan, the 3DS version of Resident Evil: Revelations is headed to the eShop as well, and will be discounted to 4,990 yen until March 31st. After that date, it will cost 5,300 yen (the retail version went for 5,990 yen).

I bought it for $10… but its still a good price

  • A good alternative to hunting down a used copy with a hardly played save file years from now.

  • Brimfyre

I can’t believe I paid full price for this “game”. Ah well. Lesson learned.

    • Ferofax

Well, you got to play it when you paid for it. Isn’t that the premise of buying games?

        FFS, this!

      • Brimfyre

Sorry my “game” quotations was meant to imply Demo.

  • Mansoor Behbehani

Isn’t it always cheaper when you buy games from the eShop?

    • Ceci “Ruzuzu” Kiyomizu

Not all the time most games still have the 40-30 dollar price tag.

    • Brandon Dutko

No. Pretty much everything is about the same price as retail.

  • JustThisOne

I wonder if this will ever be ported to the PS3, alongside the Revelaitons? That’s kind of the only idea that’s stopping me from picking this game up.

I’d do it for Barry either way. *__*

Is the west finally getting discounts from Capcom? At best there was Unchained Blades and some others at $20-$30.

I remember Japan was already getting discounts for things like MH and Bravely Default since November 2012.

Bring back Boulder as a secret boss!

    • The TRUE Final Boss fight of the game. Anyone who says otherwise has never played the game with a friend.

    • “I think Chris is a pretty cool guy. Eh punches boulders and doesn’t afraid of anything”
