Last year, Kadokawa Games released a port of Fate/Stay Night Realta Nua for the PlayStation Vita in Japan. This week, Kadokawa announced that the game will be sold at a discount on the PlayStation Store in Japan for a limited time.

Until April 10th, Japanese Vita owners will be able to download Fate/Stay Night for 3,990 yen instead of 5,250 yen. The retail version of the game debuted at 6,300 yen back in November.

It’s a book. I wouldn’t say it has any gameplay, aside from branching path choices. It is a very nice read though.

      • Ooh right, that light novel that released awhile ago

        • ( `Д´)ノ)`ν゜)

No, the game is like a book. It’s basically watching a background with text covering it line by line with each click. However, from time to time there is prettier art to look at.

  • Why does Japan keep everything to themselves? :(

If you’re a white guy, it’s just like dating a Japanese girl. You have to go in and pull her out of her comfort zone (Her all Japanese group of friends) and show her some Western luvin’!

      • I am a Caucasian male, yes, but not the point. Uh… I have never dated a Japanese girl… so yah. xD But that really isn’t a good analogy…

    • Xenophobia? XD

      • No?

          Not you. Japan.

          • Ah. I see. They might. xD

Is there anything that actually separates it from the original VN storywise, though?

    • LynxAmali

A few added scenes, a lot of remixed/new music, a new opening and ending for each route, voice acting by default. There might be a bit more I’m missing.

  • Why is this not in America yet?

  • I actually bought it a few weeks ago when AmiAmi had it for 3990. It’s hard to resist at that price. :)
