Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut Coming To Wii U

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is coming to the Wii U, an Amazon listing reveals (Joystiq via: GoNintendo). The Amazon listing is for Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut, slated for release on May 7th.

Amazon mention a new Wii U specific feature in the form of a new augmentation for Adam, called the Neural Hub. “Tap into the Wii U’s GamePad true potential: Adam Jensen’s newest augmentation, the Neural Hub, offers an immersive and empowering experience, right at the tips of your fingers,” the description reads.

The Australian studio, Straight Right, that worked on porting Mass Effect 3 to the Wii U were also reported to be porting a Square Enix game to the system as well. There’s a good chance that this is it.

    sent to die

  • Glad I don’t yet have this game (bad Caleb, I know…)

This will be a great title to pick up for the Wii U when I get one (if this is not just a rumour), so I’m very excited about this. Cannot wait to see what this new augmentation is.

My thoughts exactly. Plus it will be a actual game to buy for the Wii U. Sadly not exclusive, but not a eShop game.

Someone’s going to shoot me for this but I never did finish my game of Deus Ex HR…

I probably didn’t do myself any favor when I checked out that exploit and ended up maxing everything… It kind of killed the sense of progression for me…

Why not a game that can’t be gotten for less than $10 at this point on other systems?

While it’s nice to see more titles coming to the WiiU, it would be awesome if we could stop getting ports of old games and start getting more new games.

So far the only game that was scheduled to come out during the launch window that I wanted is now coming out in September.

I’d rather have Tomb Raider, but I never bought this, so here we go.
