Ermahferkengerd. Next month cannot come soon enough!

  • I’m still on the border about this one. On one hand, SMT. On the other hand, I didn’t… really enjoy Strange Journey that much. :( Is Soul Hackers at least a little more forgiving?

    • Barrylocke89

It really all depends on WHAT about Strange Journey you didn’t enjoy.

You mention that you hope Soul Hackers is more forgiving, so did you find Strange Journey to be too tough? If so, from what I understand, Soul Hackers is an overall easier game, so you may want to still consider it.

But if you mean the mechanics (like being a first person dungeon craweler, or demonic negotiation), then realize that Soul Hackers has more of the same in that aspect. I believe the game is supposed to be a little more plot heavy than SJ, but even still, if these sort of things bothered you, then you probably won’t care for Soul Hackers.

Soul hacker had more plot than Strange Journey if that convice anyone.

  • Spirit Macardi

    I heard Richard Epcar :D

So Etemon is going to be in SMT x3

      Or Zangetsu..

    “Get your COMP out boy.”
Couldn’t keep a straight face. Excited for this one! :D

  • Wait, so who is Spike Spencer in this game?

    • SetzerGabbiani

Spike Spiegel. Steve Blum…anime legend at this point. He’s probably the leader of “Spookies”.

      • …no, Spike Spencer, who is also a US voice actor. That’s his real name!

slightly disappointed that they felt the need to redo the soundtrack in a similar style to what’s been used in the Persona series more recently… the soundtrack to the original was incredibly unique. That being said, absolutely looking forward to this. The only games I’ve bought all year so far have been Atlus-published. They know what their fans want.

Don’t worry the music in this game is still the same

This song is from the bonus arrange album that comes with game if you pre ordered and this music sound nothing like P3 and 4 music it’s sound a lot like the raidou games music.

I beat Etrian Odyssey 4 so now I’m ready for this game.

  • biskmater

eh, the combat looks flat in comparison to Etrian Oddyssey IV at this point, so I guess I shall pass on this one, my best friend is probably getting it anyways.

  • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World
