Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Waves Around Some Gameplay Footage

Ubisoft have shared a new trailer showing glimpses of gameplay footage of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, the next game in the series featuring a new protagonist, Edward Kenway. As previously reported, the game will let you explore an open world featuring underwater shipwrecks, cities, jungles and lost ruins. Watch the trailer below:

 

 

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will be released on the PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, PlayStation 4 and other next-gen consoles. Current-gen versions of the game will be available on October 29th in North America and November 1st in Europe.

    Neat trailer and all, though I wonder if the combat is as free-form as they make it appear here or if it will be as… “directed”, I guess, as previous games have been.

    When you see the scale of AC games, it makes you wonder what kind of dev team they have to release such massive high quality games each year when other devs take over 3 years to release content using the same engines they had used in their previous games.
