By Ishaan . March 29, 2013 . 10:45am

NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. have shared two more Injustice: Gods Among Us match-up videos, this time featuring Batman vs. the Flash and Superman vs. Green Lantern. Who wins both matches shouldn’t really come as a surprise, but the fights are rather entertaining. You can check them out below:

Injustice: Gods Among Us will be released on April 16th in the U.S. and April 19th in Europe. A demo will be available on the Xbox 360 and PS3 next week.

    saw that coming

    Batman because well Batman

this game looks so stilted and disjointed and just horrible to watch let alone play. And what’s with all the pauses between animations? Terrible.

Youre not alone, Ive always thought the animations in the game looked plastic and disjointed. I was hoping it might look better with time..

This is way too obvious that it would come down to Superman and Batman. This isn’t about who’s technically better gameplay-wise but rather a popularity contest with all the DC fanboys, no offense to them, I like many of the DC superheroes.

LOL. If WB’s gonna go that route anyway, Booster Gold and The Question (Victor Sage) should’ve been added by now. xD

In addition, how about a tag team of Supergirl and Braniac 5?

But, we already have a Green Lantern in the game.

public voting system to determine the winner for this ‘tournament’. good job for picking up on the popularity contest flag.

out of curiosity, what do you mean by ‘technically better gameplay-wise’? if that was a valid factor, wouldn’t that just mean that the game and each of it’s playable characters aren’t balanced?

I thought that was the objective to this entire ‘battle arena’: to showcase each character (as each character should be rather balanced so as to deter players from playing only as one character and keeping fights ‘interesting’) and to weight each fight to their corresponding vote count.

And will The Dark Knight be able to take down The Man of Steel!?

    Probably.

  • Lazulis

It’s always down to who has the plot armor

Saw it coming but I wish they were more original with these fights, that and I am pretty sure Batman wouldn’t win against the Flash under normal circumstances.

    • Brion Valkerion

But these ARE the normal circumstances. Use all the analyses you want about powers and abilities these fights end the same way they have ended since the characters were created. Even if Superman would get his butt kicked by Hal Jordan, or Flash beating Batman… thats simply not how it works in the DC universe.

Its kinda like the bad guy winning. By all means the bad guy should win, but in the last second the good guy wins, because thats just how it is and nothing else :/

      • dotzeno

I have no idea what you just said.

But I’d like to add that between Flash and Batman, Flash has super speed, but Batman could still outsmart him. It’s not like the Flash has clairvoyance.

i was soooo shock at the outcome
