Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories are headed to the PlayStation 3 via the PlayStation Network next week, Rockstar Games have announced. Each game will cost $9.99/€9.99/£7.99.

Also available on the PlayStation Network for PS3 are Rockstar’s PS2 racing games—Midnight Club: Street Racing (set in an open city in NYC and London) and Midnight Club II (set in LA, Paris, and Tokyo).

  • Oh man I may get Midnight Club II again I love it and it introduced me to some awesome music as well. Michael Da Brain is the Man!

… Why can’t Rockstar just HD Remaster these?

I would totally buy it, but not like this

Costs more money. Rockstar doesn’t seem like the type for revisiting old games.

But, come on. An HD Remaster of San Andreas, who wouldn’t buy?

I understand these “minor” GTA games getting just a PS2 Classics version, but I think they’re missing a great chance

        They did for Bully.

Eh. A late port isn’t really the same thing though. I mean, this in itself is a port.

Well like HD remasters the resolution was up beyond what PS2 version were as well as touch ups from on the gfx. Just because they din’t put an HD label on it and charge far more doesn’t negate that fact it is a HD remaster.

I hope the master code still works for Midnight Club 2
