Black Rock Shooter: The Game Coming To U.S. And Europe This Month [Update]

By Ishaan . April 5, 2013 . 1:00pm

Imageepoch’s Black Rock Shooter: The Game for PSP isn’t cancelled. It’s still coming to the U.S. and Europe, and it’s coming soon—in a few weeks, in fact.

NIS America announced this afternoon that Black Rock Shooter: The Game will be released on April 23rd (April 24th in Europe) as a download title via the PlayStation Network. Here’s a summary of the story:

2032 AD – Earth has been ruthlessly assaulted by extraterrestrials, and nineteen years of nonstop battle now threatens the very existence of humanity. The last hope for human survival is BRS, a heroine created solely to save planet Earth; she is the ultimate battle android. But when she is awakened to end the battle once and for all, there are only twelve human beings left on Earth…

We covered Black Rock Shooter: The Game a fair bit prior to the release of the Japanese version. You can catch up with our coverage by using the Black Rock Shooter tag. A second trailer is viewable below, followed by screenshots.

Note that Black Rock Shooter: The Game will not be available on PSN in Canada, Mexico, and select countries in Europe due to licensing and copyright restrictions.

Pfttth, what short notice. I guess they wanna get it over with.
Can’t wait for dat Manabu Namiki soundtrack

  • Ah my gawd it been forever, I still want it too.

  • DesmaX

… Can we have Makai Kingdom Portable now?

    • They’ve always said no to Makai Kingdom, whereas the answer to BRS has always been: “It’s coming, but it’s taking longer than expected.” Makai Kingdom isn’t happening at this point.

      • DesmaX

        … oh.

        Thank you

    • Brimfyre

Can we just be happy we are getting BRS this month instead of immediately asking for the next game? Jesus.

      • DesmaX

        But I am happy

        • Brimfyre

Sorry didn’t mean to sound like a jerk. I spent too much time on Kotaku today. Always leaves me a little hostile.

          Siliconera is a happy place.

          • DesmaX

Don’t worry about it. I didn’t express myself properly

          • AnimusVox

Haha I know what you mean. I used to go there and it does tend to put folks in a bit of a foul mood xD

          • ShadowDivz

Yeah but canadians such as myself cant buy it. Well, there goes my support.

  • Lilith

Time to buy a PSN card.

  • xAtKx

almost two years of waiting…this is why I love NISA

  • Akane Zuliani

That’s the best news this week, I’m glad to see we are still getting more japanese games localized for the PSP.

  • nani?!

    • Damarius Wingfield

      Don’t you mean 『何』。

      • No I think he meant 何ですと!?!

        • Exkaiser

          • Guest

            Sheet just got serious.

          • Ching hao yo wu :D Now, seriously, did you all looked for the translation or knew it beforehand?

          • Nah I speak Japanese

          • Exkaiser

            I study the language.

          • I’m so jealous :C I want to learn Japanese too >.<

          • Juan Andrés Valencia

Me too, otherwise it looks like they are trying to insult each other with ASCII characters.

          • I went to another world line to learn it

          • マジかよ

          • You should actually use hiragana for that

        • Nanyate?!

      • lol, i wanted everyone to read it tho xD

    • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

  • Wow, I thought this got cancelled

  • Go2hell66

    Oh thank god

  • NorthernPatches

Oh man I had totally forgotten about this game! HYPE MACHINE IS IN FULL EFFECT AGAIN!

  • zferolie

    • Probably a licensing issue.

      • zferolie

Yeah, That would make sense. Still, that song was awesome, and it’s a shame it’s gone. I bet the game will still have great music though.

Any word on sub or dub, though I am 99% sure it’s subbed. Saves money.

        • Fairly certain it’s gonna be subbed, but let me ask NISA.

        • NISA says J-audio with subs.

        • Hork

That’s not necessarily how it works. The Japanese audio has to be licensed, even if the game isn’t dubbed. Many companies find it cheaper to dub only without subbing at all.

      • Seijien

They do sell their music on the U.S. iTunes, so probably. I encourage anyone to check out ONE OK ROCK. They aren’t just a fantastic J-Rock group, they are a fantastic rock group, period.

  • Bobby Jennings

    Nice! The HYPE has risen!

  • Ronaldo Campello

    Finally!!! o/

  • Brandonmkii

  • YES! Yes yes yes yes Y E S ! ! !

  • Christian Wright

    there goes the figurine :(

  • Maumac77

FINALLY. Was starting to think it was going to end up like FF Type-0. Downloading day one!

    • ;-; Hopefully with the restructuring and Project Crystallis we will get it.

  • TheExile285

If its Vita compatible, I will buy it.

BTW, what happend to gameplay in trailers…..?

And they wonder why these games don’t sell in the West >_<

    • Daitrombe

There is gameplay on trailer 2.

  • benhofb

WHAT?! I was seriously just thinking about this. Bout damn time. Been waiting for BRS since like 2011.

  • What regions will it release? I heard that it won’t release in Canada due licensing issues? And I also read “part of europe” but do you know what areas?

  • TheCynicalReaper

    So… Vita compatibility?
Come on, now. I’ve waited ages for this game. Please don’t tell me I can’t finally get it because I have a Vita.

    • All psp games on psn works on the vita iirc

      • TheExile285

That is not correct. Not correct at all.

        • DesmaX

Well, it would be dumb to release a PSP game nowadays that isn’t compatible with the Vita

          • TheExile285

It is very dumb. Doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen. Hakuoki Warriors of the Shinsengumi came out Feb. 19 and is still not Vita compatible. Although based on the gameplay videos I’ve seen, probably not missing much.

        • r0gamer940

yes download from ps3 then transfer to vita all work. just not on the vita store

          • TheExile285

No it’s not. 100% of PSP games do not work PSV just with PS3 transfer. Phantasy Star Portable 2 was on the PSN for months before it was removed and was never Vita compatible. Several other games are like that too. It varies between region.

          • Quinton Cunningham

Still wrong. There are many games that work that way, but not all of them. Not by a long shot.

        • All the game you see on PSN vita store are all compatible obviously but there are apparently some game that isn’t on the vita store can be played if you download the game on your ps3 and transfer it over.

Ok well thanks for correcting me…I guess?

    • TheExile285

I would hope its Vita compatible. Just gonna have to wait and see :/

      • Zal_Yagun

Apparently PS Lifestyle has the pricing and compatibility
19.99 and “as far as we know it will be vita compatible” from NISA

        • TheExile285

          Only $20 + Vita compability

          TheExile is sold

  • Joy!

  • Brimfyre

Time to break out my BRS Figmas.

  • xXDGFXx

    >as a download title via the PlayStation Network

    Well… at least it’s coming out T-T

  • fds_nextdart

Sucks that No Scared isn’t the song for the opening anymore and that we won’t get the Figma figure but I’m stoked the game is coming nonetheless. Hopefully it’ll have PSV compatibility right off the bat~.

  • pimpalicious

I just hope I can play it on Vita.

  • You forgot to mention this which was in the email I got from NIS. “This title will not be available on PSN in Canada, Mexico, and select
countries in Europe due to licensing and copyright restrictions.”

Edit: And I refresh and there it is. Didn’t wait long enough.

  • Go2hell66
  • Juan Andrés Valencia

    Dat visuals

  • LynxAmali

-Note that Black Rock Shooter: The Game will not be available on PSN in Canada

    Damn it!

So I guess I’m not getting it.
To think I was really hyped for this too.

    • WHAT! No Canada! That’s not fair…

Well, time to go import that game…

      • LynxAmali

This is why I like physical releases.

        • ShadowDivz

          • you could import an american psn card

          • ShadowDivz

Yeah, but the switching accounts thing is a pain on the PSV.

    • DesmaX

You could just make a US PSN account, buy a digital PSN card on Amazon, Best-Buy or other online shops, and buy the game

      • LynxAmali

Will it work with cards I buy in Canada though? That’s the question.

      • ShadowDivz

Wow, that’s alot of time(and a decent bit of coin) for a game that was announced like 2 years ago. Seriously, this is bullshit.
I was so happy when i read the title. “TIME TO PLAY BRS ON MY VITA” and then i get served with this. Atleast some people can enjoy it.

    • Guest

Is anyone else as pissed as i am right now?

  • Zenthos

Seems like I still have a reason to keep my psp.
    Will do.

  • I’m happy that it’s finally coming out even if it is just a download. I’m also very happy that I bought the White Box when I did since its not getting localized. As happy as I am however, I really hope that the game will be Vita compatible.

Also, anyone know the name of the song in the 1st trailer?

  • TheExile285

    Oh cool, a 2nd trailer

  • RoxasTheUnknown1

  • Sentsuizan_93

Finally! Its been a long time coming but its closer than expected. I might even pick up my PSP again. ^_^

  • Muffum

    Well, that’s abrupt.

Also a bit saddened by the apparent lack of One Ok Rock, though I’m sure I’m one of maybe four people who liked that song. It grew on me.

    • It was good but when this was a newly announced game for the US they said it wouldn’t be there.

  • Chiupon

    Digging the trailer song. O:

  • Laith Rem

“Note that Black Rock Shooter: The Game will not be available on PSN in Mexico”

    Ah c’mon, that’s bullcrap.

First reaction aside, I guess I am getting a PSN card overpriced. Again. I was liking not having to import those.

  • Visa Vang

I guess I’ll be hunting for that White Rock Shooter Figma Limited Edition now…

  • Wow. Awesome. If it is Vita compatible I will buy it… eventually.

  • FetusZero

No Canada really is a shame. And yes, I know we can get a US account and all of that, but it doesn’t mean I feel like having yet another PSN account to manage.

    • ShadowDivz

      Also… your avatar. O_O

      • FetusZero

        Satori loves sushi rolls :]

  • AnimusVox

    Holy shit, it’s still coming….
    How about that :L

  • SirRichard

Took them a good while, but at least it’s still happening. I’d also hope it’s Vita compatible, but if not then I guess I’ll just dig out the ol’ PSP.

  • fireemblembeast

Wow, this came out of nowhere!
Sheesh, first they make us wait for 1.5 years and then they say ok we can give it to you the same month! Well, not that I’m complaining…It’s just that I thought they would have said it was coming soon a few months ago. Less waiting this way, I suppose…

  • This looks awesome! I’m guessing I’ll be able to download this from my Vita, right?

  • Aristides

God exists… of course as long as you can play it on Vita lol

  • fireemblembeast

Too bad about the figurine, but I guess we should just be glad we’re getting this. I don’t even have a psp but maybe I’ll get one for this and various anime games (although they are expensive! >_>)
Ugh, I’m torn between buying a PSP, PSVita, or a PS2…Each one has its own great games! Why can’t Sony have backwards compatability like Nintendo?!

    • Edzo04

a ps2 shouldnt be on that list 0_o

      • It has a huge library. I recently hooked mine up again to play games I haven’t finished, yet.

        • ShadowDivz

Lol i just did that yesterday. But just to see if it still works… AND IT DOES!

      • neo_firenze

A PS2 definitely SHOULD be on this list for anyone who doesn’t have the ability to play PS2 games on the systems they own (say, a non-BC PS3).

It only has one of the best (if not THE best) game libraries of any system ever released, with boatloads of exclusives that were never ported to anything else. And a lot of the great games are now very cheap, so you can snag a lot of classics for a fraction of the cost of buying brand new releases.

  • raymk

Late as hell but I still want it, I thought we were gonna have to wait for a vita remake or something.

  • Brandonmkii

Imageepoch is on a roll lately. Maybe we can see Sol Trigger or Face/Extra CCC in the future.

    • Laith Rem

      CCC almost 100% sure.

Sol Trigger? A pipe dream. At best. /Which is a pity really since Sol Trigger has Imageepoch best battle system and a goddamn great story)

      • Brandonmkii

Yeah I know it’s wishful thinking. I’d double dip on CCC even though I’ve already imported.

      • ShadowDivz

If they pull the “US” only crap on CCC im gonna snap.

        • Laith Rem

EXTRA is on all the Northamerican PSN stores so I don’t think they would do it.

      • cj_iwakura

I’m worried about CCC. It’s got some RISQUE stuff. Easy M rating.

        • Laith Rem

Nah, the risque stuff barely reaches Agarest stuff. It’s serious 90% of the time. Sure PassionLip and Meltylilith (BB sort of) designs are a bit risque but there have been worse certainly.

          • Vash bane

had to look that….and….I did not know that game had so much ecchi

  • gk2012

I don’t get the hype for this game. It’s boring and repetitive to be honest.
Especially near the end when you can just keep spamming 2 skills to clear every random battle with ease.

  • Edzo04

very shocking. seems like we are getting lucky lately with all the localizations

  • Kawashima

FINALLY! Thats all I got to say.

  • ivanchu77

  • Zal_Yagun

At least it coming out right after I finally was able to seperate Flight Inversion from aiming

  • Unlimax

    O lawd .. For real !!?

I’m about to Finish the Japanese version right now and i have no problem finish the game for the second time in English version :D

  • kaizin

woot finally coming out and so early glad I waited instead of importing it cant wait.

  • TrevHead

WOOT! It’s coming to Europe (although I might just buy the US version)

  • Alicemagic

I cannot even begin to describe how happy this makes me.

    • ShadowDivz

Ironic, i can’t begin to describe how much it infuriates me

  • What is ‘selected countries in Europe?’ Europe is beyond one country and coming out with that is the same as just saying “Random chance for release in your country”

  • Onizuka Gio Hikari

FINALLY my waifu’s game is about to come here! ! ! >w< I had this imported but I will def buy this to support!

Btw you guys should check out the OST for it. It's very Mega man like (which is good)

  • Nightmesh

Anyone else wondering if their gonna dub it?

    • Ricardo C

Did XSeeD dub Corpse Party? No. Did Aksys dub the Hakuoki games? Nope. I doubt it because they are digital download titles (even though the Hakuoki games got a UMD release) and BBS is fell to the same category as Corpse Party.

      • xXDGFXx

XSeed has dubbed a release before. TiTs and Ys are two I can recall of the top of my head. No idea why since the only spoken lines are grunts and end of battle banter.

  • Holy crap, how long ago was this announced to have been coming in the first place??

  • Freud_Hater

    Well… I’m in Canada, so… Sorry, can’t support the game ^^’

    • Testsubject909

It’s on PSN. You can support the game because it’s released in the NA region.

      • No, NISA has specifically said that it won’t release in Canada.

  • CirnoLakes

  • My favorite PSP game, finally coming in English! I couldn’t be any happier!

  • Hork

I cannot believe it’s actually happening. I’ll actually get to play this video game in English after all the time spent with my import copy. I am hype.

  • PersonaSpace

Glad we’re finally getting it, especially since I specifically put off playing my Japanese copy after NIS initially announced the game. Hoping it’s Vita compatible, but I still have PSP lying around somewhere if it’s not.

  • To be honest, I was so excited till I found out that I couldn’t get it in Canada (and before anyone says anything, I’ve got a lot of games off of my account and don’t want to lose access to them).

I’m truly shocked that this has happened and it frustrates me greatly. Right now, it doesn’t matter who was at fault, though I hope NISA can find some way to fix it soon.

I hope everyone who can play the game enjoys it. I’ll just have to put out and import a physical copy. At least that will work…

    • Wait, you can lose access to them?

      • Yeah, if you don’t have the account you purchased them with logged in as your primary, then they won’t work…

    • ShadowDivz

Import what? It says its a digital only.

      • The physical UMD from Japan. It’s not digital only there.

  • Jazlynn Lim

Almost 100%-ed the Japanese version; all I’m missing are one or two Golden Dawns.
Maybe I should play the English version (and do the frustrating-as-hell bike missions, and the suicide-bombing bunnies mission ALL OVER AGAIN) so I can fully understand the story this time. Not that I had absolutely no idea what was going on, just that I might have missed out on some story stuff.

And I’d be able to comb the areas for Golden Dawns one by one so I won’t miss any this time.

    • Ni

      >frustrating-as-hell bike missions

I just give up on that. The sad thing is that the bike missions are the only ones stopping me for the 100% completion

  • Ricardo C

Please tell me they didn’t remove the theme song like how they removed BLEACH: Soul Resurrection’s theme song D:

  • *hugs psp* There is still life in you yet! Besides replaying the games I love.

  • ShawnOtakuSomething

lol The psp is still kicking, isnt this game a bit old? who cares I’ll play it

    • The PSP is always kicking and lively….. in Japan and some ppl around the globe.

  • revenent hell

See when I first heard word of the game I was super flip floppy on whether I wanted it or not, one day I would be super hyped for it then the next day not so much…..Time has killed the “hypeness” feel for me and now if I buy it, its dependant on price.

  • Zharkiel

I do wonder about those licensing issues in mexico, can’t think of any companies giving a f- about Miku in here to buy the rights for it.

Anyways, not like people here buy PSP games…

  • MrSirFeatherFang

I was looking forward to that limited edition statue that the Japanese LE had and (I believe) we would’ve gotten too.
Well, I can’t really DL anything until I can get a bigger memory card for my Vita and the fact I need the funds to buy the game too. Seems pretty cool, though I know nothing about BRS besides how it was supposedly created.

  • Ben Sylvia

  • TheCrimsonSpeed

I would be happy to pay for this…if I could buy it from the Canadian PSN. I know I could just make an American account, but considering I have a good 15+ downloaded PSP games on my Vita, I shouldn’t have to, even temporarily, lose access to them by going through a ridiculously long process of memory/account swapping for the sake of one game.

It’s amazing how fast my mind-set went from “Yeah, I’ll be able to play this at the end of the month! =D” to “Oh…guess that’s not happening, that really sucks…=(“. A shame, since I really want to support this one, but I’m gonna have to pass. =/

    • Testsubject909

      Canadian PSN?

There is no such thing as a Canadian PSN buddy. There’s a North American PSN.

Anything released on the NA PSN is available in Canada.

      I should know.

      I’m Canadian…

      • LynxAmali

-Anything released on the NA PSN is available in Canada.

        Not really, no.
        They are two different stores.

        Especially given this;
Note that Black Rock Shooter: The Game will not be available on PSN in Canada, Mexico, and select countries in Europe due to licensing and copyright restrictions.

      • TheCrimsonSpeed

I used to think the exact same thing that you do, because for the most part, there is no difference (which I’m thankful for), but believe me, they are completely different stores.

Case in point : Dokuro. It was released on the US PSN in late October of last year, but on the day it was released, if you checked the store from a Canadian account, it was the only thing from the update absent. The company releasing the game later revealed that it was only on the US PSN due to some issues and would arrive later. It did arrive in early November, but all the same.

Plus, we’re dealing with different currencies here. A Canadian dollar is not equivalent to an American dollar. One is always worth more than the other, so a simple “North American” PSN isn’t even possible. To be fair though, it’s an easy mistake to make as 9 times out of 10 it is literally the exact same content.

  • meg

will there be a hard copy or is it just Digital Download only?

  • ShadowDivz

  • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

Lol, i totally forget about this game. -_-” And now i am on a bad position.T_T
I totally have no more money to spend for this game.(Soul Hackers and Luigi Mansion, you drain my wallet last pathetic life here.T_T)
Hoped that this game will get more support after all the long wait.^_^

  • Jason A

    Work on vita? Anyone?

    • Testsubject909

Every recent PSP games released on PSN have worked on the Vita.

So yes, if the game is a PSP game on PSN, it will work on your Vita.

  • Amagidyne

A sudden hit to my bank account has appeared in the form of the BRS game?!
    Gladly taken…

  • Nyandroid

AAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!! That completely took me by surprise!

I won’t be getting it right away if I need to get a new memory card to boot though.

  • れいか

I remember the time when people we’re wishing the localization of this game. :) I’m glad they didn’t decide to cut off the English version of this just for the sake of Vita Sales :)

    • Testsubject909

As someone who has both a Vita and a PSP in his household.

I feel that a PSN only release of PSP games actually helps to encourage Vita sales a bit. The dual analog, better screen and extra options just makes a PSP game on a Vita all the better.

I know I for one see this and think to myself “This’ll be a good addition to my list of games for my Vita”.

      • れいか

I agree but they also discontinued a lot of upcoming psp games in the west when Vita was released that’s why people thought it was becoming bleak this was getting localization at all, that’s why it was a relief to see that they still continued getting this overseas. :D

  • $36487238

    O_O it’s coming? As a PSN title?

I’M BUYING THIS! wahahahahahahahahahahahahha! xD all right, another game to add to my VITA’s growing collection of games on the 32GB stick. SUH-WEET! xD

  • Testsubject909

Okay, I need to shelf my excitement for a moment because…

I looked below and… Why are my fellow Canucks confused about whether or not we can get this in Canada… You all do realize that when they say it comes to the US, they actually mean the North American area, right? There’s no such thing as a separate Canadian and US PSN…

I’d almost ask that the title alter “coming to US and Europe” to “coming to NA and Europe”

Almost… But my issue isn’t with the article, it’s with people here being very… oddly confused…

Speaking of. To those who’re wondering if it’ll be Vita compatible or not…

    Really? Really… You’re really wondering?

… Well… Let me take a recent example. Ragnarok Tactics was released in retail for the PSP and on PSN and it’s Vita compatible. Nobody asked if it was Vita compatible, never saw an article that specifically stated it was going to be Vita compatible… Because it’s a non-question at this moment in time. If it’s on PSN for PSP. It’s going to be Vita compatible.

    • There was a statement stating that it wasn’t going to be available on the Canadian, Mexican or many European PS Stores.

NIS America is extremely happy to announce that Black Rock Shooter The Game will release on PlayStation®Portable via PlayStation®Network on April 23 in the US and April 24 in Europe. This title will not be available on PSN in Canada, Mexico, and select countries in Europe due to licensing and copyright restrictions.

This statement shows this information comes from NISA themselves. We Canadians are upset because we are unable to get this in our nation. It’s the same as in Mexico and some European countries.

  • Maia Kasoya

So, no UMD copy, no sort of game bundle, not on the Canadian side of PS things?

  • Christopher Nunes

The fact there’s an NPC with my name in this game is just awesome and makes me want to get it! I feel like I’m in the game itself and helping the Protagonist out! :D

*Ahem* Now that I got that out of my system it’s nice to finally get a release date to this game though it would’ve been nice to be getting updates on it and why it took so long but going with this information it seems to be a lot of legal issues that needed to be resolved to release the game as they could.

Sad that we couldn’t get the original opening theme, but this one is OK as well. And what happen to the second video? Why was it taken down?

Any who I will be getting this game when I can! Four new games for me to get this month, and I JUST got Fate/Extra CCC today as well!

    Going to be very busy!

  • Vash bane

….. here we ago played the jp version and the game was cool but lost my save so I sold it XD

but an eng release? awesome don’t mind replaying it and actually understanding whats going on :D

but I must say…that opening sucks monkey balls compared to the original -_-

  • Alister Izumi

finally! oh wait i own the physical white premium box and i can read and understand japanese…

  • So is this not going to be available for Vita? It would really suck if this was a DD title yet not playable on Vita (-_-)

  • Howl

Been waiting for this for ever!! :D can’t wait, though on another note, does anyone know how much it will be or how big it will be?

    • Mister_Nep

Pretty sure the JP filesize was slightly over 1GB. So I imagine the english filesize will be similar.

      • Howl

        >.< that means i need to get another memory card

        • B★RS

Dont worry its even smaller ne coz in jp version its 1.2somethig gb but in US its 1.1nice ne -B★RS

  • Raltrios

Not available in Canada? Crap. Well, if I do make a US PSN account would I be able to download this for a Vita? Been thinking about getting one.

  • Well, i guess having a USA account will do the trick…unless it gets ip blocked or something :/

  • Its finally out! At last! Also the 2nd video is unavailable.

Wow, Purplehead and Redhead have some interesting line there XD BRS have some pretty cool line too.

Also, I think I saw tht thing BRS is standing on in Fate/Zero be4…. Coincidence? XD

  • Shariest

It is coming to Sony’s “Europe”, UK…Surprise!
I feel very disappointed in the way games have been released for us Nordic’s…

Always some shiz with the copyrights and licencing, and if a game comes to us, the DLC most likely won’t. Because of the forced translation of info -_-‘

I truly hope that next console generation will put some focus to the issue…

  • zazza345

I suggest people forget about the other animated versions before tacking the game. It shares nothing. Also the game itself may not be suited for everyone. I personally enjoyed back then, heck I even like the story more than the animated version…

  • artemisthemp

This most likely means not available in the Grey Zone (Polen and Scandinavia)

  • Neppygear

I almost forgot this was still a thing. Suppose I’ll get it eventually.

  • Asanti Jackson

Hmmm, this will keep me going until Tales of Xillia. Instant purchase if it’s Vita compatible.

  • Mister_Nep

Of all the songs they could replace the intro with they pick the bike section music? *shudder* That part brings back nightmares. It took a lot of attempts to finally be good enough to beat that section.

    • s07195

Not to mention there was this one time you had to do it perfectly… Thank goodness you only need to slice 5 enemies before getting the powerup.

  • PK212

I was hoping for a physical release but this is better than nothing at all.

  • Please be Vita optimized. This looks like the female antithesis of Mega Man, which I can totally approve of.

  • Christian Paulo Villaflor

FINALLY~! been waiting for tihs!! yahoo!

  • chibiwall

is it true the song No Scared wont be in the opening?

    • B★RS

It still is going to be no one will ever do that if they do i will shoot them with me cannon to za moon desu -B★RS

  • Ricardo C

Now I wonder about the pricing. I hope it’s $20 so I can have it as a Graduation gift for myself *crosses fingers*

  • Göran Isacson

You know… when the villains pretty much equal the number of still living humans, I am kinda sort maybe thinking that it’s a hopeless struggle… but then again this is a game about a shirtless cyborg in the post-apocalypse so it’s possible that logic and science wasn’t what they were going for.

  • ZEROthefirst

    Finall- “Digital only”
… Damn, well I guess I’ll probably still buy it on PSN so I can at least play it on my Vita, and then record on my PSP, but I still want a physical release *sobs*

  • Joy Omar

going to play it on my vita!

  • finally..

  • Clifford Michael

    Immediately playable on Vita?

  • Haha.. >tfw already playing through the game before US and European release. I imported the physical game from Japan to Norway in June last year.. It’s a good game :D

  • B★RS
