Sony have shared a new trailer for Quantic Dreams’ upcoming PlayStation 3 game, Beyond: Two Souls. As previously reported, Beyond is a story about Jodie, a girl with supernatural powers and a psychic link with a supernatural entity. The studio’s founder says the game is about death and self-acceptance.

Beyond: Two Souls will be available this October in North America and Europe.

My life has just become nothing until October.

  • SerendipityX

    So much WANT.

  • Jordan

Cannot wait to get a hold of this game! <3

  • ToshiChan

Who else wanted to punch her dad, raise your hand with me

    • Superior Spider-Man

  • Göran Isacson

Ha ha man that dad. SO MUCH EMOTION AND DEEP WRITING that couldn’t be done without all those delicious polygons.

Oh well, I’m being facetious. One clunky scene doesn’t neccesarily mean the overall product will be like that. I wonder if the hobo we saw in that first clip is Aidan or if the good Aidan is elsewhere… and what is up with all those different sceneries, camoflage Jodie, shaven lab guinea pig Jody, regular Jody, runaway Jody… and I still don’t know where Willem Dafoes character fits in with it all. Wonder if he will be a somewhat good guy or if he’ll be a creeper like that soldier who apparently tricks Jody into a relationship.

Heh. I’m truly not buying Chris Cooper as Wilem’s replacement as Norman. Cooper is a baddie but not that level of baddie. Killing Osborn off in the first movie of the first series basically penned them into the villain of the month club that killed em. At least Ray Charles and A. Bartlett’s kid should bring something to throwaways like Electro and Rhino.

      • Göran Isacson

…. Ha ha I think that you meant to post this to some other tag, seeing as this is a discussion of Beyond and not Amazing Spiderman 2 ;)

        • M’iau M’iaut

Something of that nature. Or I just want to mod myself at a later date.

    • Sardorim

I wouldn’t call the soldier a creeper yet. He could very well have been interested in her but duty eventually got in the way of things in the end.

      • Göran Isacson

True. The scene sure is set up to make him look like a morally dysfunctional creeper, but that could just be a trick of editing.
