Microsoft have announced Forza Motorsport 5 for the Xbox One. Turn 10 studios are developing the game and it will be available at launch. More details on the game will be announced at E3. Perhaps we’ll hear about Forzavista at E3, too.

Hey look Sony, MS actually put their new racer on thier next gen system instead of its predecessor!

To be fair, Sony did say that they were considering a port for PS4 for down the road (pun not intended) and they do have more PS3’s out in the wild so it makes sense to it available for their largest base (at the moment).
But yea, that is a mistake on their part. It doesn’t hurt to have more system seller games available at launch.

IMO, when you are a game system maker, the most important thing should be selling systems. Game sales should come second.

Problem is, sometimes the higher ups at the platform markers decide/influence where your game will eventually go. That’s the reality of the game industry.

Maybe they think they have enough to warrant a purchase without GT at launch. We’ll never know.

            That’s kind of unfortunate

This presentation certainly played to the one box does it all audience which does seem to be developing. Then again, every reveal has been promising the one box does all since the PS2.

      Drive Club :V

Sony IS putting a new first party racer on their next gen system at launch, and maybe giving DriveClub the extra attention and spotlight will be a smart move. I kinda like building a new franchise with the system launch, like what happened with Motorstorm and PGR.

Would have been interested in new Project Gotham, I’m kinda bored by Forza Again.

Sony is just showing the world, that they won’t abandon their old gaming as soon as the next console comes out.
