Its only focusing on WII U games? Thats like 10 am my time, so I guess I shall watch assuming the stream is good quality.

Hopefully it gets a few killer apps that are not Ninty classical IP related.

    • Brian

I am assuming that SSB, Mario Kart and the 3D mario games will be shown so that three games I’m sure there will be others

  • ragingmerifes

Three words. Say them and I’m yours, Nintendo. Say it… “New Fire Emblem”. Say it and I buy the Wii U.

    • Dunno about that, seeing as Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem was announced fairly recently.

Of course, we could hope though.

    • They just released a new Fire Emblem, and there’s a major FE spinoff on the horizon, so I wouldn’t hold my breath for Nintendo to announce an all-new title.

  • Interface23

Hopefully they date the 3DS one soon.

  • dragoon_slayer12

I really hope they announce release dates for everything they show at this direct and e3.i really want a wii U, but I don’t want to own it with JUST 3 games. Hopefully everything releases from by the end of this fiscal year, that way I can either purchase it this Xmas or income tax season

  • puchinri

Yay~. I wonder what kind of information we’ll get this time around.

  • SirRichard

3pm UK time, that’s fine by me. Really can’t wait to see what they’ve got up their sleeves.

  • dragoon_slayer12

Also, I hope they show a lot of new games for the 3ds. It already has a great forecast as is, but I want to know I’ll be getting evicted because of EVEN MORE must have games. I love the 3ds,best investment since the SNES

  • Interface23

Hoping for DraQue VII & Terry’s Wonderland but thats probably not happening

    • Not likely, but who knows.

  • $39420547

now i know when my mind is going to blow:)

  • Vesperion

    Two words: Smash Bros

    • Smash Bros. is already a guarantee. I’d rather speculate about what kind of wild left-field announcements we can expect to be in for.

    • Two words: Most likely.

    • Guest

Yup it’s been confirmed that we’ll be seeing the first screenshots for it. :)

    • Dhruv Rajyagor

With the amount of hype that SSB WiiU/3DS has brought in, I’m hoping Nintendo doesn’t disappoint. Pretty positive they know that Smash is an important franchise to us. Though I’m hoping the gameplay is more like Melee. Brawl’s gameplay seemed a bit slow to me.

  • ShawnOtakuSomething

More crazy crossovers!!! Like Golden sun X Final fantasy. Or Metroid x Mass Effect

    • Cameron Ward

yeah metroid and ME wont happen….

      • ShawnOtakuSomething

        I did say crazy crossovers

      • Mass Effect is a third-party franchise, so it’s not like it’s IMPOSSIBLE…

        • midorigreen

But given EA’s recent positions towards Nintendo the likelihood of that happening is slim to none.

          • Laer_HeiSeiRyuu

Golden Sun X Final Fantasy? Nah Screw that GS x Tales of . It’d be wise of Nintendo if they had Camelot doing something OTHER than Mario Golf. And not another Dark Dawn please.

  • Anime10121

Cant wait to see what all Nintendo has lined up for us in the fall for both 3DS and Wii U! Though I’m MORE interested in their Wii U release schedule since that things completely barren of the games I want so far. I know the Wonderful 101 is coming in September, and Sonic’s supposed to hit this fall (hoping this is a real Sonic game, unlike Secret Rings and Black Knight), but I wanna see what else Nintendo has in store this year for them to take my monies!

  • HerosLight

That’s TWO Nintendo Direct to look forward to.

One before E3 (Which they will reveal new Smash, New 3D Mario, New Mario Kart).

And this one. I hope they show some more Wind Waker HD soon.

More importantly, BRING IN THE SMASH BROS.

    • XYZ_JolteonZ980

Why would they reveal those before e3 week?

      • HerosLight
        • Dhruv Rajyagor

I’m pretty sure they meant this Nintendo Direct. Technically, E3 doesn’t really start until 11AM or around that time. Making the Nintendo Direct at 7AM would technically be before E3 starts.

  • KiTA

    DRAGON. QUEST. X. Damnit.

    • HerosLight

I may dislike monthly fees but it would be nice if they localized that.

Looks like a fun MMO game.

  • Lemon

More news about SMT X Fire Emblem please…and Chrom + Lucina for Smash. Day one purchase.

    • Hell, I’ll buy a Wii U the day Chrom + Lucina for Smash Bros comes out. Because reasons.

    • Chrom AND Lucina?? Wouldn’t that be a bit redundant?

      • Lemon

Well, if only Chrom were in it, I’m sure A LOT of fans will be mad because, unless I’m mistaken, Lucina is one of the most popular characters from Awakening. Similarly, having only Lucina appear would be kinda unfair to Chrom in a way, since he *is* technically the main ‘hero’ of FE:A.

I can see where you are coming from though, since they are both sword-wielders and their moves/attacks might be redundant. So maybe they can join the fight as a tag-team pair, or something.

    • It’d be funny if it was Kellam and you couldn’t find him on the roster.

  • Solomon_Kano

My body is Reggie, er, ready!

I swear to gourd, if Retro’s new game is Star Fox I will cry. I will cry tears of joy. Can’t wait to see s’more Yarn Yoshi, too!

    • I kind of want Retro to not be doing Star Fox tbh. The ideal Star Fox is an arcadey shooter game that would be better off in the hands of someone like Treasure or Platinum (or the original devs, Q-Games). I would rather see Retro do either a Zelda or Metroid reboot, or a completely original title.

      • Solomon_Kano

Star Fox left the arcadey stuff behind a while back, so I feel like if they continue on that less-arcadey path, Retro’s the only people I want to see do that. And if it is arcadey, then even better — we get Retro doing something out of their element.

        • Yeah, but most fans of the series agree that the quality of the existing games is by and large inversely proportionate to their arcadeyness.

  • midorigreen

I hope that almost all the demos that they show at E3 come the the best buy WiiU demo stations.

  • Hey Nintendo, remember how a couple Directs ago you took some time out to address the types of gamers who would be interested in games like Bravely Default or SMT IV? That went over well, right?

What I’m saying is… any chance we’ll see Xenoblade 2 at this event? Or Monolith Soft’s new 3DS game, even?

    • $29082171

I believe Monolith Soft affirmed last year that their Wii-u game was a new IP, so it could be the next spiritual Xeno successor like Gears, Saga and Blade.

      • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

Don’t forget Monolith Soft 3DS rpg project too.^_^

      • Regardless of what it’ll actually end up being called, the existing trailer makes it pretty obvious that it’s a successor of some kind to Xenoblade. So, until further notice: Xenoblade 2.

  • Keima88

No one mentioning F-zero? I really enjoyed the last on the gamecube.

    • Solomon_Kano

I would love a new F-Zero! They even gave it a mini-game in Nintendoland, so… maybe?

  • Kalis Konig

Pokemon Stadium Successor please. Complete with mini games!!!!

  • Gilgamesh2025

Yeah, a new Fire Emblem would be really nice, but the next artist should better be Senri Kita again then, because I don’t like Yusuke Kozaki’s arts.

  • Göran Isacson

I hope there will be both announcements of new games AND release dates for games already announced: Nintendo have some pretty cool titles in the lineup, but they are all so far in the future and or generally TBA. Time to start hyping us on what is to come Ninty, time to start hyping right the heck NOW.

  • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

Nintendo just can’t stop throwing us bomb here lol. I still want my money here.T_T

  • JB2448

Notice how the North American page notes that this will be a live broadcast. That’s pretty hype-worthy, right?
