By Ishaan . May 23, 2013 . 12:50pm

Nintendo and The Pokémon Company will be hosting a Pokémon X and Pokémon Y developer discussion at E3 this year, and Siliconera will be in attendance.

The discussion will feature a presentation and Q&A session with The Pokémon Company’s president, Tsunekazu Ishihara, as well as Game Freak director Junichi Masuda. The event will take place on June 11th, from 6:00 – 7:30pm PST.

We’ll keep our readers updated on announcements that are made at the developer discussion.

Questions huh? Nope. None just give me the game already… please?

Serious note : Will there be a pokemon stadium for the Wii-U? Nah the question should be when huh?

“Will you be selling any Hug-me Pancham plush dolls?”

  • Grape Monet

This is pretty big news. Pokémon typically has never had a big E3 presence. It should be interesting to see what the discussion will be like, assuming the press is allowed to report on it to the public.

I did notice that Nintendo tends not to show off Pokemon much at E3, if at all — Granted, Pokemon sells itself, but it’s nice to see it getting some discussion this time.

I passed up on White 2 due to being burned out from the series (loved White, though), so I’m pretty eager to pick up Y this year.

Hopefully we get even more stuff to do post game~

There’s extremely many things to do in 5th gen post game, too bad you missed that one: it was easily the best generation so far.

Here’s a crazy idea….Pokemon stadium U with DS Transfer pack that allow you to transfer your Pokemon from Gen 4-6 to the game and allow you to play the games on your TV..* the U pad being the bottom half and your TV being the top half* . Just an Idea thats all

    • Haseyo

My only guess is now with all the online and frontier areas built in the games themselves, there’s really no point to another Stadium. Unless you just want a Pokemon game full of mini-games, which is what PokePark is for, right?

    • XYZ_JolteonZ980

Would they really announce games before the release of x and y?

  • xAtKx

A nice birthday present awaits me at E3.
