Today, Namco Bandai released a Project X Zone demo in Europe via the Nintendo eShop. The demo, titled “Lethal Surprise,” features characters from Sakura Wars, Cyberbots, Space Channel 5 and Valkyria Chronicles.

The demo takes places in Sakura Wars’ Imperial Theater stage. A second demo for the game, “Dark Hours,” will be released on June 27th. This will take place in a Ghosts ‘n Goblins stage.

Project X Zone will be released on July 5th in Europe and on June 25th in North America and Latin America. Namco Bandai haven’t announced when North America will see the two game demos.

    I really hope that the demo will be available for US sets soon, so that I can test out the gameplay. Probably the only way I get to play some sort of localized forms of Kurt/Riela/Imca from VC3 ;_;

    • Bobby Jennings

This here. I want to try out this game badly. I already preordered it in full!

  • Go2hell66

    Meanwhile in america…

    • Wondering_Zero

      *Cricket, cricket* *Cough*

Well at least we’re getting the game sooner right?

      • Haseyo

That’s about the only think keeping me from flipping a table. Not in a position to complain.

    • NTaiyokun

Great, now we know how Europe feels huh?

…we get an artbook, soundtrack and poster included as standard?

      • TheExile285

Ding, ding! We have a winner!

Yep you guys will get it. They’re not doing the limited edition for us in Europe though, which kinda sucks but it’s the usual treatment we get.

A bit of give and take I guess.

        • http://www.santashi.com/ Santashi

I actually live in Europe, too, but I’m importing the US edition for the extra goodies, which was why I said ‘we’. :)

Oh, but… isn’t it region locked?

            I guess you have two 3DSes? :3

          • http://www.santashi.com/ Santashi

I traded in my UK games a little while back and went with a US 3DS XL instead. It worked out at about £160 including postage, which wasn’t too much more than the UK version, and the game prices convert to about £24-£31 posted usually which isn’t too different. :)

Mind if I ask where you order from please? Sounds like you somehow avoid import fees – that would solve all my problems with importing too :p

          • http://www.santashi.com/ Santashi

Video Games Plus (it’s a Canadian site). :) I did get charged customs on Soul Hackers (£14, ack) but I think that might have been a one off as I’ve never had anything else I ordered from them charged by customs, including the 3DS XL.

Get the percentage bar to 100% press x/y(can’t remember which one) and you’ll do a super attack.

  • Sentsuizan_93

Played the demo, and I’m liking it so far. Here’s hoping NA will get a chance soon.

  • YoshEE

Still waiting for the announcement for U.S :(

  • Ståle Laastad

This Looks ace..does this have NISA behind it?
looks like it, might be why i like it :3

    • fayt255

Namco Bandai is publishing it and Monolith Soft developed it.

  • Laith Rem

Well sometimes we win, sometime we lose.

I’m still giddy that Bamco is saying that Latin America gets it too. No wondering if I’ll have to buy it on the internet or no.

    • Daniel blue

Are you from Latin America too? I live in Brazil, and although the eShop is pretty much up to date compared to the North American one, the prices are insane.

Every Nintendo-published game is still about 70 dollars (which is the default price for 3DS cartridges on release day over here), while some others like Atlus’ games are about half that price for some reason. It’s much better for my wallet to simply buy straight from the North American Store – which’s also much cheaper then buying the cartridge version. Nintendo seemingly wants me to give all my money to their US branch :-/

  • Jesse Torres

Does u.s get a demo too?

    • Ferofax

“Namco Bandai haven’t announced when North America will see the two game demos.”

Straight up quote from the article.

  • Brimfyre

I love Leanne. That is all.

  • michel

    Leanne and Zephyr!…

  • Prinnydoom

Loved the first demo and my god if zero/X Yuri/Estelle are in it then….then…..it will make me happy ^___^

  • fayt255

I just want the game in full but a demo would be nice to hold me over for a few minutes.
