If you buy this for the PSN isn’t it true you won’t beable to download it for free on the PS4? I heard something about PSN purchases not transferabe.

There’s no transfer fee, but the PS4 isn’t backwards compatible with PS3 games, so it probably won’t be playable unless they make a PS4 version.
That said, you shouldn’t have any reservations about buying it if you want to play it and keeping your PS3.

See, this one one of the only reasons I like apple. If I buy something, there is a huge chance it’s gonna remain playable on my next ipad, ipod touch. I have my favorites on gridlee anyway.

Well, you already pay loads of money for them… :)

And while apple’s core tech rarely changes, it happens on consoles all the time, thus rendering nearly all straight BC out :)

It’s not a reason to favor anyone else, it’s simply progress. :)

Apple is just the reverse. While you can reliably continue playing the game apps (because all they release are minor hardware upgrades), you will not be able to play future apps on older devices that can clearly run them. Obsoletion happens every -2 years-, compared to every ~5-10 for normal systems. Case in point: My iPod Touch 2G was no longer supported in many apps -months- after buying it brand new from the store :/

Tell me about it; I went all out and picked up a 4th gen *8gb because that’s all I could afford* and sure enough, not even a year later, 5th comes out and boom; I’m shit out of luck.

I’m good with my smartphone. And anyways, gaming on the go? DS and Vita.

A ps4 emulator should be easy to write, but i’ll guess they’ll ask for another $30 for these and maybe a couple other throw ins in a few years

Wow. Technically speaking, it is cheaper in the XBOX Live Marketplace! For every 400 MSP, it equals $5. So, the price of 2000 MSP = $25! Unless, of course, that’s a typo in the article.

no Ghouls ‘N Ghosts, a sequel to Ghosts ‘N Goblins, oh well, stick with the PSP Capcom Classics.
