Samurai Warriors 4 Is Still On Schedule For A 2014 Release

This week’s Famitsu issue has a special feature on Tecmo Koei, where it was revealed that Samurai Warriors 4 is in development and is still on schedule for the original targeted 2014 release.

Hisashi Koinuma, who has recently been promoted to Tecmo Koei’s Executive Vice President, mentioned back in 2012 that he aims to have the fourth installment of the Samurai Warrior series to release on February 2014, which coincides with the 10-year anniversary of Samurai Warriors series.

In addition to the report, a question that many have asked regarding any sort of collaboration between Atelier and Samurai Warriors, was vaguely answered by Tecmo Koei with “Perhaps it’d be interesting to have something together for a festival.”
