that is cool and all, but what about news of Lords of Shadow 2?

    Woo! About time.

This is great! Always wanted to play this, never owned an Xbox or Playstation to play it on.

Does look like quite a bit of an investment though. Because I’m going to need to buy the 3DS entry between the two also. Might have the Lords of Shadow IP be a long term project for me.

Whoa, what a good day for PC Gamers. Just curious, though, what’s the general consensus of it? And I heard the one in 3DS (LoS2? CMIIW) is kinda sucks. I only played Castlevania SoTN back when I was still a kid.

I personally liked it a lot. I think my biggest issues with the game were relatively minor such as the occasional camera hiccup and on normal mode, normal enemy mobs have too much health (imo).

However I felt the voice acting was amazing. The music fit in very well and the environments were gorgeous (and probably even more gorgeous on PC). Gameplay, outside of some mobs just taking a little too long to die, was fun.

As long as you can go in with a view that puts aside normal Castlevania gameplay (running through giant castles), it can be a lot of fun. The game is not perfect by any means but I think a lot of the complaints come from people preferring the old castle exploring style of Castlevania and not giving the game a fair shot because this one doesn’t do that.

      yep, it sucks

Very easy, very short (9 hours to get the 100%) and no replay value

9hrs? you be smoking something there, LOS is more like double

I’m talking about Mirror of fate

This game is fantastic, particularly in the section of eye candy. The art design is phenomenal. I remember downloading the demo out of boredom and then being stunned at the vistas when I entered with no expectations at all. On the PC it’s gonna look even better.

Gameplay wise it’s similar to God of War (mash X to hit dudes with a few other button presses to mix up your attacks)

Presentation is great, gameplay is decent, overall I think it’s a treat. I would recommend it for the ride.

The 3DS game may have been bad though, I didn’t play that since I didn’t own a 3DS until like a few days ago.

Like others said it was pretty good in the presentation standpoint. Only problem with it I have is the combat feels too loose imo. Everything else was more than fine with it though.

Usual people saying it sucks riding Alucards undead wang.

Haven’t gotten this on PS3 yet I’ll think about it.

Yeah, unfortunately, I’m not going to be able to get this day one. Tales of Xillia is taking all of my video game money that month.

But my PC could definitely use more Castlevania games. And Konami games in general. I’ll definitely be picking it up when I can.

are those 2 extra chapters DLC for the ps3 version?
