Ikaruga Creator’s New Shoot-em-Up Out Tomorrow In U.S.

By Ishaan . June 26, 2013 . 10:30am

G.Rev’s Nintendo 3DS shoot-em-up by the creator of Ikaruga has a release date. Kokuga is slated for release on June 27th (tomorrow!) in North and South America, according to the game’s official website.

Europe and Australia will be getting the game, too, but a release date has not been specified yet. The game’s site merely mentions a vague June/July timeframe for a PAL release.

Kokuga will cost $14.99 on the Nintendo eShop for 3DS.

Sure I’ll nab it for $15. If it was going to be full price like in Japan, then I would’ve had to pass.

Last I checked games belonging in the twin stick shooter ghetto are not shoot-em-ups.
