holy down-vote! sorry people, just my opinion, i wish it was the other way around, because this is one of my most treasured gaming experiences!

      • komiko12

Hah. You underestimated the power of anonymous downvoting.

        • MakoSoldier7

haha even my frantic explanation got down votes *cue to zanarkand as i weep in the fetal position

  • Chris Yuen

    Tidus’s laugh. Now in high-definition.

  • TheExile285

Just so people don’t get confused, the LE is only announced for the PS3 version.

  • Suriel Cruz

For those who weren’t so sure about this, after this trailer, they’ll probably pre-order this. ^ ^

  • Santos Strife

Only thing that bugs me in the HD Remaster are the models, they have dead eyes… without emotion… the SD version looks kind better…

    • Sergio Briceño

It’s good to know I’m not alone in this. But everything else looks beautiful, for a PS2 remaster that is. It even looks better than some early Xbox360/PS3 RPGs.

  • Tohsaka

Awkward blinking about halfway through that trailer.

    • abysswalker

Oh man that scene totally made my day LOL

  • Chiupon

    Yuna’s still gorgeous.

  • Eric Harris

    original color looked better.

  • X_Bacon

Nice sync on that blinking there…

  • AuraGuyChris

I think Tidus was affected by the comparison that he now blinks unevenly.

Also, I have mixed feelings for the HD version. On one hand, the environments look polished. On the other hand, the character models look a liiiiiiittle too realistic, which then look unrealistic.

  • Godmars

Funny how they seem to have put the videos sides by side, yet out of sync.

    • SunOatBoatMatadorQuattro

The original Final Fantasy X had a lot of lip sync issues. I think the PAL version was ever worse and even the forced laugh scene was out of sync

  • Eric Gornicki

It looks so much better! You can’t deny it! It’s right on our faces! I’m buying this for sure! SE give us the fu***** release date NOW!

  • Tom_Phoenix

I knew it! She has been hiding it for all these years, but Yuna has now revealed her true identity! She is actually….Two-Face!

  • Lavitz

    Wow it looks great!

  • Raharu95

Now I see what you guys mean… Color change in Tidus’ hair really is noticeable >_~

  • LDM

This video has brought back nostalgic memories of my high school years. It was my first PS2 game along with Silent Hill 2 back in Christmas 2001/January 2002. Now, I am looking forward to playing it on my PS3.

  • Jake Caro

The HD Tidus kind of freaks me out..

  • Altumn

I do not like his skin tone and hair color as much as the first. I couldnt tell as much with the other casts… but I feel like they’re trying to make Tidus whiter then the original. Like Dissidia and his actual White skin tone.

    • SunOatBoatMatadorQuattro

It’s hard to notice considering the scene is a sunset so they could be using a different lightning. When compared with the other characters Nomura designed for Dissidia, Tidus has a notably darker skin.

      • Altumn

True, it could have been the lighting; yet Its a different tone almost altogether, not really a different shade.
And look at Jecht… They should be about the same in skin tone and well, they’re not. And Tidus actually is just as tan as Squall and Firion.

  • Kevadu

To Zanarkand remains one of the greatest pieces ever composed for any video game. That’s all I have to say about that trailer.

    • grevlinghore

Until you play Baten Kaitos and the tunes of Motoi Sakuraba give you infinite eargasms :>

  • David García Abril

Now I know enough Japanese to understand Tidus’ infamous catch phrase in the original Japanese… and see how much they changed it.

Literally he says: “This might be the end, so I want to tell everything”.

I’d have to play the rest of the game in Japanese to see how it fits inside the script.

  • AzureNova

Wow, you can really tell the difference between the two. I think it looks beautiful and just fine in HD.
