As reported last night, Nintendo have released a new 3DS firmware update in North America, that allows one to purchase four new StreetPass Mii Plaza games for the device. Here’s a look at the four new games you can download:

Each game costs $4.99 to download, or you can pay $14.99 for the whole lot of them.

  • Mii Force: Players use StreetPass Mii characters to blast their way through enemies and keep the galaxy peaceful.

  • Flower Town: Players plant seeds in their virtual gardens. When players StreetPass with other players, their plants are watered. Cross-pollination can lead to new breeds.

  • Warrior’s Way: Players use StreetPass to recruit troops and amass an army to unify a country.

  • Monster Manor: Players collect StreetPass Mii characters that bring new pieces of floor. Players can then create rooms, fight ghosts and unlock treasure chests in a climb to the top of the mansion.

Completing various accomplishments in the four games will allow you to redeem new outfits and hats for your StreetPass Mii characters, such as a Luigi Costume, a Yoshi’s Egg Hat, a Super Mushroom Hat and a Super Star Hat. The selection of outfits and hats changes each day.

Look like nice games, but i don’t like how they seem to rely to much on tagged streetpass characters, since i barely meet anyone here with streetpass.

Last person i streetpassed was over 1 month ago.

I will think about buying thoses games, once Nintendo release the update to make streetpass easier.

If you had your 3DS on during E3 period, you should’ve gotten some Nintendo developers through spotpass. Even if you don’t get streetpasses, you can use play coins to get old characters back.

    • RoboConker

You can hire Old Allies and Travelers with the Gold Coins just like Find Mii.

    • Elvick

I’ve never street passed with anyone.

Still trapped in a dark dungeon because I can’t randomly get a white hero.

Yeah i’m also stuck in a poisonous room, because i can get a second yellow streetpass characters, i spent over 100 coins trying to get a set of 2 yellow wondering heroes and still haven’t got a set…
Before that i had been trapped in a room with a ghost with a white and black shield for a while before i was able to get a set of black and white characters…
I don’t complain though since that game was free, but i’m not willing to pay for games and go through the sames problems with those games.

Why couldn’t they have released these last week before I went to AX and streetpassed with 10 bajillion people? >.<

  • ragingmerifes

    Why are they paid? WHY?

Now, seriously, it’s kinda cool that they are making that much effort into the Mii Plaza. I think it will be further expanded to be a more social network-kind of place. Like the Miiverse.

    • Laer_HeiSeiRyuu

Because they comission 4 different devs to make these

  • Godman

$5 bucks is a bit much for a Streetpass game :(
But damn I love customization and may crack just to see my Mii in a different outfit

  • idrawrobots

I am downloading these when I get home.

  • IshimaruKaito

Something to use that $30 credit for!

Mii Forse is, without a doubt the best one of the bunch. Monster Manor is a close second, and Warrior’s Way is cool as well. Flower Town is okay I guess.
