Little Witch Academia 2 Anime Short Meets $500,000 Kickstarter Goal

Anime studio Trigger has met its Kickstarter goal for producing a follow-up to its immensely popular Little Witch Academia short, titled Little Witch Academia 2 (via: Anime News Network).

 

In addition to meeting their initial goal, Trigger have also met their stretch goal of $500,000, which will allow them to add an audio commentary track and a “making of” documentary to the Blu-Ray release of Little Witch Academia 2.

 

Little Witch Academia 2 is slated for release in winter 2014. Prior to that, localization studio acctil will release the first Little Witch Academia as a collector’s edition set in North America.
