Sony are still releasing free downloadable content for Soul Sacrifice, their Monster Hunter-esque PlayStation Vita game. The game’s latest update adds eight new quests and two new bosses—Cat Sith and Beelzebub.

You can read about the two new bosses on the PlayStation Blog. Additionally, Sony say there’s more DLC to come. These are the rough dates you can expect to see more content added to the game:

  • Aug 20th: The Cobbler Triplets and the Old Master
  • Sep 3rd: The Iron Lady’s Tears of Red
  • Sep 17th: The Fall of the Gods

Is it better to be evil hand or good hand in this game, or to have a balance between both?

  • Highasthesky

That’s just creepy….not as bad as Mara(Persona) though.

I’m loving this game so much! playing it like a crazy man!

Hope Sony will announce Soul Sacrifice 2 ad Gamescon, since this game is so amazing.

    • TheExile285

If they were to announce a 2nd SS it would be at a Japanese conference.

That being said, I wouldn’t expect it until late next year at the earliest. Sony has that 1st party titled called Freedom Wars launching at some point next year.

Can I just say that it’s super cool this game still has so much good dlc being pumped out for it? And this is free, too!

    • MyBodyIsReady

Yeah they’re really supporting it. I thought it would be like, “here’s 2 for free…the other 14 will be £3.99 please!” but no they’re being super generous with DLC

    • jujubee88

Yes. Yes you can say that. I’ll let you say that. :^)

Like the creature from Final Fantasy Cait Sith?

  • BenderIsGreat

I should probably plug that in the ole Vita and play it soon….. naaaah Muramasa’s too damn good.

  • KuroNathan

I think with the gods dlc that’ll be the last of the free boss dlc. After that its paid avalon story ones for more allies and expanding on the SS universe

Good lord that 10* fight is hardcore.

Barely beat it with one other online, messed up and broke both my timesands and had to rely on my sole offense spell.

    • jujubee88

Yeah, been meaning to download these bosses myself. I’ve been so out of touch.

I’m not lvl 100 though, I wonder if I stand a chance against these higher level bosses. Especially since I haven’t been playing the game lately.

        It attacks CONSTANTLY.

at level 50 life, stone armor, and 50 def amp sigil, I took 4 attacks before dieing.

I’m scared of the Leprechaun now.

        • jujubee88

Hmm. Makes me want to play to see it’s attatck patterns first hand. I’d probably die if I suck at it though since I’m a blood type (SPOILERS: I’m using the “blood cannons” I got from beating Magusar).

I’m trying to come up with a cat/Star Wars/dark side pun but all I’m coming up with is extremely lame.
    But for now, nyan.

  • SlickRoach

Soul Sacrifice was the reason I bought a Vita in the first place and I don’t regret it for a minute. But dat Dragon’s Crown has got me too engrossed to stop for the moment.

  • Vash bane

im sorry but I have to say when I saw the thumbnail I instantly said “wtf sam hill is that” then I saw soul sacrifice lol ah that makes sense(its stil creepy though :/) XD
