Atlus USA have shared a new trailer for Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl. This one features Raquna. Watch the trailer below:

Raquna is part of the Midgard Library’s investigation team, along with Arthur and Simon. Both her partners are rather fragile, so it’s up to Raquna to keep enemies at bay. She’s described as having a down-to-earth demeanour and a fondness for drinking.

Etrian Odyssey Untold will be available on October 1st in North America. On Monday, September 16th, Atlus will release a demo for the game on the Nintendo eShop for 3DS.

This EO is easy like EO IV (even in normal mode) or is like the first EO (since is based on it)?

Anyway, still waiting for Europe release

    • Ethan_Twain

The EO has multiple difficulty settings, allowing for a variety of difficulty experiences.

I didn’t have a good experience in EO IV. Normal mode was more like an easy mode and I didn’t try the casual mode because I like challenges

I hope Untold be more like the original EO (if we speak about difficulty)

        • Ethan_Twain

This EO had a hard mode accessible immediately upon starting the game. Your desire for extreme punishment will be satiated.

I’m still enjoying the first EO game (At the fourth Stratum maybe) but tried the demos of EO IV (pretty cool) and EO:U (feels so good hearing the same tunes but orchestrated and some voice work from old friends). Can you clarify what makes the fourth title so much easier, even outside of the casual mode that I would never play?

            1) Money. In EO2 and EO3, en was frequently a limiting factor. Thanks to the way resource gathering works in EO4, it’s easy to accumulate money and always be able to afford the best equipment as they become available for your characters.

            2) Being able to call up the monster index in battle (by pressing ‘R’) paired with the Analyze burst skill. No more trial-and-error (or looking up FAQs) needed to figure out enemy weaknesses. This makes battles easier.

          • Adrián Alucard

EO IV have extremely simple mazes (compared to EO), less mazes because each land (stratum) have only 3 floors (yeah, there are caves, but they are so small and much more simples and easy), you fight against less monsters in battles (4, maybe 5 monsters)

He’s stating that your comment implies you hate EO and you think everybody else should hate it too, because your opinion is more important than everyone else’s.

She totally sounds like Erin Fitzgerald.

I want say stuff about her but Embargo keeps my mouth shut.

  • Raltrios

Yeah, I much prefer this spelling of her name to the old ‘Racoona.’

  • DyLaN

On an unrelated note, I find Raquna looks simialr to Emi Yusa (Hataraku Maoh-sama).

  • Quadsdat

I was wondering if the weird spelling of the name has anything to do with her namesake. If so, what about the others?
