Risky Boots Playable In Shantae: Half-Genie Hero; Here’s Her Sprite

WayForward Technologies have shared a first look at the design of Risky Boots, who will be a playable character in Shantae: Half-Genie Hero. Take a look at her below:

Artist’s notes: this new HD Sprite retains the overall look of the original Game Boy Color and Nintendo DS pixel versions, while playing up the superiority Risky holds over Shantae. Older, stronger, smarter, and armed to the teeth, Risky Boots considers Shantae a temporary annoyance, like many that have come before.

Shantae: Half-Genie Hero is in development for PC, Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
