DuckTales Remastered, Capcom and WayForward’s HD remake of the original DuckTales game on NES, is currently available as a download title for PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U. Soon, however, it will also be available at retail in North America.

Capcom will release a retail, disc-based version of DuckTales Remastered on November 12th in North America. The retail version will be available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U, and will cost $20.

Remake of NES game, not SNES…

i was hoping for a physic version of this game, i think the price can go even more down tho.

Can Capcom say the same for Ace Attorney 5?

There seems to be no announcement if it will release will the exclusive pin the PS3 digital retail copy included that had already been released.

Though I feel a game as short as this doesn’t warrant you to insert a disc into your console. Maybe its better off as a downloadable game.

    good thing I waited

What, are you serious *.*? I could’ve gotten it digitally for $11.99 before w/ PS Plus, but I went to Gamestop to get the “boxed” ver for $20 + tax w/ the d/l code and pin cause I thought it wasn’t getting a disc ver, now they’re actually coming out w/ a real disc versoin :(.. man… I wish they would’ve announced this earlier.. guess I would collect the 360 disc ver again later..

Even for Walking Dead, Jurassic Park, or Back to the Future, I always choose disc if possible.. Ducktales’s a great game though, to my surprise I actually like it more than Castle of Illusion remake, even though that’s good as well..

Wow, I *almost* bought that boxed digital copy. Glad I held off. I’m totally getting the disc version. I don’t really care much for the pin that came with the current boxed version anyways.

unfortunately I did, I was so happy GS had the last copy… oh well, would need to double dip now (I did the same for back to the future).. wonder if they would do the same for Castle of Illusion later. But I alrdy d/l’ed it w/ the original Genesis game.. I wish they would’ve made it clear from the very beginning, now I feel stupid for getting a pin for extra $10..

Hope this version has some extras, like the dev videos or something… to fill up some more of that disc space.

Wait a sec, why didn’t they just release a physical version to begin with? Was this just an attempt to spur digital sales and then go “Hey guys, we listened and went ahead and made disc copies now that most of you have bought it. Oh you’re welcome to buy it again, THANKS!”
