As a guy that hasn’t really been following this game, that all looks pretty solid.

  • ShawnOtakuSomething

North America will see the game in 2014. better then nothing

    • Saraneth

2014 is actually not bad at all considering Japan’s only getting it in December.

      • 324234

Depends what month of 2014. January’s fine, but much later..

    • Pockystix

      the waiting game is tough

but at least we have Pokemon, Rune Factory, Ace Attorney and some other 3DS games to hold us over~

      • Guest

        Don’t forget Zelda!

  • Heisst

    Thank goodness for dual audio.

    • Klarktastic

      Yes. Please gif.

    • InfectedAI

Yeah. I actually thought the English audio would be good, but I didn’t like what I heard. I’ll definitely be playing with the Japanese audio.

  • Prinnydoom

Not even the voice acting could put me off this. Still brilliant.

    • SiliconNooB

Worry not, the game has dual-audio – so just use the Japanese VAs.

      • Prinnydoom

I phrased it wrong i was trying to say that i liked the voice acting. Don’t really care about japanese audio.

  • Sentsuizan_93

I can hardly contain my excitement for this! ^_^

  • firecow

The voice actor for the MC sounds familiar. Anyone know who it is?

  • Nanaki

    That soundtrack. Must purchase.

I wasn’t too thrilled with the trailer (Not because of the voices, they’re fine), didn’t think it was that well edited…. but I don’t care, I want this game so bad! Thank goodness Nintendo took this title from Square-Enix’s hands, this game is more classic Final Fantasy than anything SE has released in a decade!

    • Jero

AGNES SAMA! that was always my favorite part of the Japanese trailer because it had so much emotion.

  • KingGunblader

So does this confirm they’re dropping the subtitle? I guess that makes sense, given that there’s an enhanced version now. (Also, “Flying Fairy” was kind of stupid…)

    • Flying Fairy may look/sound stupid (I personally liked it), but it was clever enough from a story perspective.

  • Samsara09

Great. My 3DS is craving for some qaulity rpgs.Well, hope they make a blast with this game,so we can get the sequel quicker. That said…I hope the next trailer has a better voicework, not that I am whining, since nothing will stop me from buying this awesome game, but bad voicework will weaken the sales…even if the game has dual audio.or,perhaps, the issue is the mic,now that I think about it.

  • James Enk

    looking good

  • GOLD

    this,pokemon, and smt=an rpg overload.

  • $61526767

That music.. so great to my ears. I can wait till’ 2014. In the mean time, I shall listen to the soundtracks.

  • Junko Enoshima

I hope I’m not the only one that likes the voices.

    Anyways, this is purely gREAT~~

  • Zangetsu777

  • So sold!

  • Detrimont

Tiz and the 2nd female party member sounded fine in English, Airy(which i’m guessing is the fairy), did not at all, sound good

  • SinnerUnderGrace

Ive waited long and hard. The wait is almost over :’)

  • Kornelious

That “Tiz” guy kinda reminds me of Allegretto from Eternal Sonata……..SOLD!

    • Bec66

Really? because he came off as more of a more shy and reserved kind of person to me.

      • Kornelious

Your right about that, he kinda looks like him though

  • Göran Isacson

The sound balance was pretty off here, a lot of spark and fuzzy sounds for some reason whenever someone spoke up… but still, can’t deny this is looking like one fune RPG. Them backgrounds, man. My childhood memories of FFIX are all coming back to me.

  • Suicunesol

The VA isn’t terrible, but the sound quality leaves something to be desired. I hope it doesn’t sound like that in-game.

Also, I expected British voice actors for some reason :O Since it is coming to Europe first, I thought we’d just get British actors.

    • Slayven19

Glad we didn’t get british voice actors for this. This game is like last story where the british VA just doesn’t work for the game. It worked for xenoblade though.

      • SiliconNooB

The British actors sounded fine in Last Story. Are you American?

  • Lemon

Honestly, I think the Japanese trailer was done much better, but I’m confident many people will thoroughly enjoy this for both the gameplay and story nonetheless. I just hope it the marketing improves as the release date draws near.

  • sammy11

at least my favorite character Edea sounds good. I’m so pumped for this game!

  • LDM

I will gladly wait for this game, because the wait will be worth it.

  • chroma816

The overworld and towns are absolutely stunning.
