The sooner the better, still it’s nice to know that’s already confirmed.

  • TheDarkEmpress

Atlus is doing a great job with this title. Keeping it updated and listening to player feedback. I’m glad they picked this one up. One of the best releases all year for me. Had so much fun with this game.

    • Arcana Wiz

…. actually is vannilaware, as much i love atlus, let’s give credits to who deserve it ok? ;D

      • TheDarkEmpress

Yes, clearly. Too bad the publisher is usually the one who, you know…FUNDS all of it. How can Vanillaware make tweaks without that little thing called money? Hm? Just trying to say that Atlus always does a good job with the games they publish, this is no exception.

      • AKA Takumix

I have to agree with TheDarkEmpress, given the light shed by Vanillaware’s director in the artbook introduction about Atlus’ contribution for the game release http://img534.imageshack.us/img534/306/yb7e.jpg

I love how when this game was released this was confirmed to NOT happen/be possible.

Can’t you just feel the love?

Oddly enough, they mention Crossplay very early when it was announced. Though one would assume that the component was dropped during its troubled development.

Kinda strange for them to let it out without much warning or fanfare.

  • xAtKx

So I can get double the trophies for half the effort.

    • The trophies are actually tracked under a single entry since Dragon’s Crown is tagged both [PS3] and [PSVITA].

  • Kaitsu

If they start adding new characters. I will cry. Joy that is.

    • $1392518

Its 4 player Muti, they should have characters at increments of 4
at least 1 more Magic/range type and another Melee type.

Guest characters from Odin Sphere, GrimGrimoire, and Muramasa would be cool too.

  • Croix Zapp

    i had a regret when i got this game……that i didn’t buy it on day 1

    • $1392518

some of my friends regretted not picking it up Day 1 for the Artbook.

I regret not noticing Gamestop Rewards had signed Dragon’s Crown Posters by George Kamitani…

      • ShadowDivz

        What?! Motherf– *facepalms*

  • JustThisOne

Just to be clear here, does crossplay mean I, a Vita-less PS3er, can play with people who have the Vita version? Or does this just mean you can play your game on either platform and transfer saves/characters between them?

    • Mr_SP

Cloud save transfers already exist in the original version of the game. This is adding the ability for you, a Vita-less PS3er, to play with people who have the Vita version.

      • JustThisOne

Haha, you’re right. Silly enough, I actually knew the cloud save transfer thing already existed. I was playing with someone that did exactly that awhile back. Sorry, dumb question on my part. xD

Good to know for sure, though.

  • Göran Isacson

So they said they didn’t have the budget to includ this option, then released the game and made money… and USED that money to actually give us this feature that we desired.

Good Guy Vanillaware, man. It should be a meme.

  • AKA Takumix

Unless Vanilla manages to remove the framerate slowdowns on the Vita version and which happen more frequently than on the PS3 version, I don’t see how Cross Play could be possible unless they’re willing to make PS3 players suffer from the same problem to keep them synchronized with Vita players…
