Square Enix have released new gameplay footage of Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut on the Wii U, featuring developer commentary. The video demonstrates a number of features on the Wii U, such as the second screen, new augmentations and more. Watch it below.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut will be released on PC, Wii U, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 22nd. The game will cost $50 on Wii U, $30 on the Xbox 360 and PS3, and will be available to PC owners for $5 or $10, depending on whether or not you own the Missing Link DLC. If you don’t own the PC version at all, it’ll cost you $20.

Meanwhile, Eidos Montreal are also working on a brand new Deus Ex game for PC and consoles.

I’d really like to get this game on the Wii U, but that price is killing me.

I’m doing it. I never bought this before and I do think it’s worth the price from what I have heard about the game. It does kind of suck though.

      • If you have never played it, it’s definitely worth it :)

Or also for $20 if you don’t own Deus Ex 3 at all.

I’m more interested in knowing what I get extra if I buy this addon on steam, not on the Wii U

I think they are reworked boss fights, a NG+ option, dev commentary and general bug fixes. It also adds all the released DLC including Missing Link, good if you don’t already have it (and if you do, you pay less).

What about the endings? They were the most disappointing in the game for me. And that there were no wounds on the bodies…

This is probably one of the only times I’ll ever pass by a PC version for the console port. Having a minimap on the Wii U version is an insanely handy feature for a game like this where route planning is everything.

If you had it, you could also use an iPad for the PC version.
