Sounds like Sabat, he is pretty cool but he is no Hiyama. >_>

So is Europe getting the Vita release at retail then? That’s pretty cool for people that wanted a dual audio (I assume it is as nearly every DBZ game does it outside Japan) physical Vita release.

The limited edition? Eh… It is a combination of not trusting a new team, a new engine, not having much fun with the demo and generally disliking DLC… And not having any of the systems to play the game. Not interested. >_>

That’s nice and all, but I’ll wait to know if the game’s any good first. I’ve been burned by DBZ games numerous times this gen.

      same here.

I am glad that my experiences with DBZ-games have been limited to Budokai Tenkaichi’s :/

  • TheExile285

Europe is getting a retail copy of the Vita game. I jelly :/

Then again, the expensive last SE I bought from Namco got a re-release less than a year after release lol. As long as I get Sage Goku and SS Bardock, I’m good.

I bet the art-book is gonna be nice though….

I’m just importing a copy of it. I’m willing to bite the extra cost for a physical copy.

I would if it weren’t for the DLC >_>

  • dahuuuundge

heheh, “Privileged” content from the dev team.

  • Wow, thats a really nice figurine. I might just get this. Hopefully the gameplay is nothing like Ultimate Tenk.

  • Fox

Cool. I hope Amazon will have it, assuming it’s not obscenely overpriced.

I’m excited for this game. Yeah, there are some negatives, but all of them are for better purpose if put to good use for later games.

First off… Yeah, no transformations, but this time it’s kinda a good thing. Back in Tenkaichi 1 there was no reason but this time they specifically have mentioned characters playing slightly different or at least being balanced better as opposed to a pure aesthetic choice. Transformations have been crap for a while now; cheezy background cut away scenes, camera glitching, the sound not matching the visuals, I mean just the transformation scene has been a mess for years now while games like Storm have sleek, amazing awakening scenes. Then you have the issue that the difference between Goku and SSJ1 Goku and so on is nonexistent save some attack changes which even then are the same in most cases when you have many characters and forms with “energy blast wave volley” when most of those characters have already done more in the series. If I can play Goku, and then SSJ1 Goku and feel like they are different? Yes please, can we have that? Better yet, if they take that and apply it to a sequel or next game where the forms can transform into one another? That’d be great. So yeah, no longer even a negative.

Not really doing story and sticking to fun fights? Okay, I mean it’s not like we don’t have a billion games that have tried (most failing) to represent the story of DBZ. Spanning off that to focus on the gameplay and such? Go ahead, do that, please.

Point is the gameplay looks really fun, whether it is or not is yet to be determined but if it’s fun to play and has solid game mechanics then this is a success and hopefully Transformation differences, fun gameplay, and all that will be applied to future games if they don’t just pull a Tenkaichi and have the second game where you can transform and they focus on visuals and more epic gameplay and characters.
