Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Children Coming To 3DS Virtual Console In Japan

Next week, the Nintendo 3DS gets a pair of Shin Megami Tensei games via the Virtual Console service in Japan. Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Children Black Book and Red Book will be making their way to the Nintendo eShop.

A monster-collecting game like Pokémon, Devil Children was released for the Game Boy Color in 2000. Unlike Pokémon, though, the two versions Devil Children Black Book and Devil Children Red Book both feature different protagonists with connected stories.

While the games are a simplified version of the Shin Megami Tensei formula, they do retain staples such as demon fusion. A year after the release of the two original games, Atlus followed up with an upgraded White Book release, mirroring the Pokémon release pattern.

Both Devil Children games will be available for 600 yen on November 11th in Japan.
