    Oh Snap!

  • Corey Owens

Is it really that hard to just sit down, relax and play a game without having to let half the world know you are?

    • idrawrobots

All 3 consoles all added social media functionality this Gen.

      • Godmars

And i don’t like any of them for it.

        • idrawrobots

Well, I think Miiverse is pretty awesome.

          • I agree, but I wish they’d add a notification system to it.

          • idrawrobots

What do you mean by notification system.

          • Eon Droel

I guess he means small in-game notifications. So you can see like a preview of the reply without having to open the whole Miiverse application.

    • Vesperion

Pretty sure most of that stuff can be disabled

  • Texting and driving.

    TV watching and driving.

Yea, I can see Forza being a bad idea for multi-tasking. MMO grinding, maybe, but that’s one of those cases where most people usually have another TV dedicated to it anyways.

It’s actually not that farfetched..sometimes I watch Netflix on PS3 while playing a game on the 360.. So it’s kinda convenient u could switch so easily on one system.. Like yesterday I was catching up on some lords of shadow while watching Congo lol… I usually have something on during Chow time… so it’s nice I don’t need to have both systems on and keep changing input with remote..

    • Vesperion

Well here you wont be needing that other TV anymore

  • Last I would want to do is be distracted playing something like a racing game. Keeping track of Gamefaq is a maybe, but I would usually pause the game to seek help instead.

  • Shane Guidaboni

Why do I need to do that? I just want to sit down and play a game.

  • idrawrobots

Hello, I am the only person on Siliconera that is excited about the Xbone.

One of the few here lol.. Usually it’s filled with negative comments with every XB1 article for some reason… If Amazon doesn’t ship mine soon enough I might pick it up from best buy. I wish the launch were at midnight Friday instead of thurs, got work the next day… Getting AC 4 and DR 3 for now :)

    • Vesperion

There is a very small number of “us”

Every XB1 article is full of negative comments. Must be a Japanese thing. The multitasking feature is awesome, but people hate it cause it’s on xbox. It’s a optional feature that doesn’t have to used.

Now if this was a PS4 video instead….

    • leingod

I am too. Not for the actual console, but for games like KI and DR3. Heck, even Ryse looks cool to me, no matter that the “hip” thing to do is hate on it.

PS4 on the other side, doesn’t have anything going for it game-wise. At least for now.

    • CozyAndWarm

I’m not very excited about either the XBone or PS4, but D4 and Sunset Overdrive at least look pretty interesting. That’s two more exclusive games I’m interested in than what the PS4 has right now… And some region-free Cave shmups on the Xbone would seal my purchase instantly.

  • Guest

Not the best game to do this showcase I think, having to look at the game pausing every couple of seconds in middle of a race was weird :P

Maybe with a slower paced game, like D4, it would have been better.

  • NightzeroAX

If i were to get a Xbone I’d be to busy playing a game to be doing any of that crap. The only good feature both consoles have is the ability to stream to twitch.

  • Microsoft is trying to fix a problem that doesn’t exist.

  • DesmaX

So, snapping the browser in a game should open the mobile version of it?

Look really good. Would definitely use it a lot of I brough one

  • PreyMantis

It’s pretty useless to me if a Kinect is mandatory for this feature.

  • Demeanor

Now you can eat while you sleep! Oh wait… XD

  • pekoe212

Finally! Because whenever I’m racing a car the thought always in my mind is “God I just wish I could be watching a video right now!” Maybe not the best game for highlighting this feature?

  • Anthony Birken

Watch TV while playing the game? Why in the hell? Maybe an MMO, but I can’t think of much else…

  • Dolly

stop trying to make snap happen (cough w8) its never going to happen D8
