Professor Layton’s Final Adventure Coming To North America In February

Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy, the sixth game in the Layton series, is being released in North America this February, Nintendo of America announced this morning.


Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy will be available on February 28th. The game is described as Layton’s final adventure. You can watch a new trailer it above.

      If the video shown at the last level 5 event is indication of what we can expect from layton 7 then the layton series is really gone. Layton 7 looks nothing like a real professor layton name.

    I will be extremely saddened to see this series go. I am a huge puzzle game buff so it was kind of rare to see puzzle games with a huge puzzle variety, full anime cutscenes and being a huge franchise.

    The crazy, preposterous plot turns, the lovable characters, great music, puzzles by the thousands, it had it all. I really hope the series can at least have a spiritual successor someday. And hopefully Level 5 keeps up their localization efforts because they seem awfully spotty with their other titles.
