Capcom have shared a new batch of screenshots from the upcoming Strider game, showing off a number of Hiryu’s moves, such as the charged slash, star jump and launcher. The screenshots also reveal the Mecha Pon boss, who will be making his return.

As previously reported, the Snake-like Ouroboros and rival boss Solo will also be making their return in the game. Strider is in development for PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.

Did anyone else read it as “Mecha Porn Boss”?

    • Kaetsu

I was just going to comment about that lol

      Yes, yes I did.

I wish this was coming out on Wii U.

    • Chaos_Knight

I wish every good game would come to Wii U also.

I’m looking at you Square Enix and Capcom. >.>

      • Kaetsu

I’m with you. I don’t see why companies don’t see the Wii U as another console. They think it’s some strange alien device. The only company that attempted to make an effort(aside from Nintendo) was Ubisoft.

        • Landale

I don’t think it’s so much not seeing it as a console, so much as seeing it as a drastically different console compared to what has been available so far. Things in games that would use the game pad’s unique features wouldn’t work very well on the PS3 and 360, likewise trying to force use of it in a port would feel rather tacked on. Overall not worth spending money on the changes that would need to be made between versions.

However, going forward it’s likely to see the Wii U getting more attention as these sorts of features become a bit more universal with the PS4-Vita Remote Play and Xbox SmartGlass.

why are you talking about good games when talking about the new strider is the perfect example of a dull game made to look flashy.

        • Kaihedgie

I suppose you’ve been to the future and played the entire game, yes?
