Pokémon FireRed And LeafGreen Remastered Soundtrack Available On iTunes

More Pokémon soundtracks are making their way westward. Starting today, the Pokémon FireRed & Pokémon LeafGreen: Super Music Collection is available on iTunes.


The soundtrack, which costs $11.99, features adapted and orchestrated versions of the music from Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, composed by Junichi Masuda, Gō Ichinose and Morikazu Aoki.


This release follows the Pokémon X & Pokémon Y: Super Music Collection released a few weeks ago. Other Pokémon soundtracks planned for release in the future include:


  • Pokémon HeartGold and Pokémon SoulSilver
  • Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire
  • Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl
  • Pokémon Black and Pokémon White
  • Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2

      I think only parts are orchestrated, cuz the previews I listened to on iTunes still sounded like in-game stuff.

    They’re basically just releasing the OSTs that were released in Japan. This OST in particular doesn’t have orchestrated or remastered tracks. It’s the music straight from the games with 5 remixes (including an awesome vocal version of Azelea Town) and 9 songs from the original Red and Green thrown in.
