I love how it originally was a PS3/Xbox 360 game and now it’s on Android xD

  • I’d get it just to support them if my money wasn’t waiting for Christmas sales D:

  • Jorge

    Bought it!

This is a game that could actually be fully enjoyable on smartphone in terms of control, and I think I read they tweaked the interface a bit. I wish they could work on Spectral Force Legacy, even if that is probably impossible considering they would have to localize it from scratch after porting it to Android.

And $9 is an absolute steal for the level of content this game has. Anyone with an Android device should seriously consider picking this up for only $9.

They also put Generation of Chaos, Spectral Souls and Blazing Souls Accelate on sale. Mmh.

i can see Generation of Chaos actually working well with a touch screen.

I’ve heard a lot of bad things about this game. I’m a fan of TRPGs–even though I’m usually not too good at them. Any chance I would enjoy this? Is it possible to grind when necessary? That is the main thing that turns me off of these games–like Tactics Ogre–when you can get yourself boxed into a corner where you can’t grind like you need to.

    • Arrngrim

Having played all of the RoAW games, I can tell you the story in the games are all quite good. Yes it is a bit grindy, yes it can be a little tedious, but if you can figure out what combos to use, etc. It’s worth it for the story. Find the “true ending” guide that’s floating about on the net and enjoy. In truth, $9 for the original game with ALL of the DLC…is a freaking steal, because if it’s all of the DLC they offered…it makes the game silly easy and I personally paid them upwards of $100 for all of that DLC+game.

Edit – Oh, to answer your question, there are only a very FEW spots where you would be unable to grind if you got “stuck”. Some of the boss battles can be multi-stage events where they prompt you to save in between. So generally just save to a 2nd file when prompted to save when not on the world map screen. Other than that, yes, you can revisit previous locations and grind to your hearts content.

      • Barrylocke89

I have the opposite question, which you just answered somewhat. How often do you find yourself HAVING to grind, especially if you try to play the game without a guide?

        • Hikari Langley

Not too often, it really depends on what character’s you are using. Most of the battles will give you enough exp to move on without having to grind honestly.

          • Arrngrim

Hikari nailed it, and like I mentioned if you’re getting all the DLC you will receive equipment which makes your units gods from the beginning and it’s tough to even lose a battle after that.

    • Warboss Aohd

It’s alright, though like you said it DOES require grinding. Fanservice isn’t as prevalent as the game leads you to believe.

I want to know 2 things… first, can a samsung galaxy tab run this well? and second… did they include some sort of mid fight saving system like a suspend save or something? all i wanna know if im gonna buy it since i have the original on ps3 lol.

  • Anesia Hunter

Okay, now please do ports of all 3 games to ps vita so I can play some of my favorite games on long car trips or when i’m hiding away from annoying relatives somewhere. ^^

  • Arcade Bumstead

I don’t know why hardcore gaming designated this a kusoge, it’s not that bad. Better than a lot of mobile games.

  • JMJ

Developers should state on the description whether their game is playable only on tablets. No mention on this so I assume it should play fine on Galaxy S3?
I’m also curious if RoAW on Android has suspend save!
