JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle is headed to Europe in spring 2014, Namco Bandai confirmed this morning. Prior to this morning’s announcement, the game was simply pegged for a vague 2014 timeframe.

All-Star Battle will cover a number of arcs from the original manga, featuring over 30 playable characters from the series. As previously reported, Namco Bandai will be making minor changes to the game’s localization.

Spring 2014. Still vague, yet it still narrows it down to a couple of so months. And they are a bit close, too!

    2014 will be slaughter on a gamer’s wallet…. x_x

    • Luis Camargo

      Like every other year……

Still, february and march are overkill.

      • Syn

I am with you there, and whats more, its like every platform is out to get every single penny we have in those two months alone.

  • ssj3gokou24

or you could get the japanese version for less than what they’re gonna sell it for.

    • Monterossa

True… it’s $40 now. It’s a fighting games, doesn’t require to know Japanese, especially for ppl who read the manga.

  • Shinobikens

Is this only going to get EU release and not a NA release?

    • Hound

They had mentioned that it was coming to the US as well in an earlier article. I imagine the US is a bit more complicated port-wise due to the many localization changes needed to keep from copyright infringement >.>

  • landlock

Hmmm… I’m torn not sure I wanna play this until I’ve seen more of the anime since there are bound to be making more later. I don’t want anything spoiled for me.

    • Punny Fuzz

OR you could read the manga I guess, maybe, I dunno…

      • MrSirFeatherFang

I think most people prefer not to read manga (in general). That and it surprised me people are intimidated by the length of a manga when checking them out.
I just wish we could get more than just Part 3 in the US… maybe it’s about time for me to move to Italy :/

        • SNF

There’s english translations of the manga, just not official ones.

There are some top notch fan translations that have been done.

          • MrSirFeatherFang

I know, I’ve read them lol.
I just would like to support an official release.

    • BlakShiranui

You’ll be waiting a long time before you can play this game then.

    • SNF

The anime won’t catch up to the manga for years. You’re going to have to either accept being spoiled, or read the manga.

      I suggest reading the manga.

  • urbanscholar

I wonder if Europe will get a cool collector’s edition? No for real I’m asking because if they do I’m importing it : p

  • SlickRoach

Hmm, I’m really curious about the US localization though. I mean seeing as how characters actually say stuff like “Gold Experience”, “Bite the Dust”, “Killer Queen”, and “Sheer Heart Attack” what are they going to do about that, just cut out the sound clips? The game would feel VERY weird if they did that.

    • SNF

They’re just going to keep all the Japanese audio. Any name changes will just be in the subtitles.
