Daigasso! Band Bros. P To Add YouTube Sharing And Online Multiplayer

By Ishaan . December 23, 2013 . 9:00am

Band Bros. P, the Volcaoid-powered Nintendo 3DS rhythm game developed by Intelligent Systems, is going to be receiving a series of updates in the months to come, reports Nintendo World Report.

One of these updates, which is out now, allows players to upload musical creations to YouTube through a special channel in Japan. Additionally, a free Nintendo 3DS app allows 3DS owners without the game to play it with their friends locally.

More updates are planned for release in the future as well. One of these will add online multiplayer, interface tweaks and more.

Very nice. I’m kind of disappointed in the game to be honest. The lack of any sort of story, and leaving you on your own to get songs made it hard for me to keep interest. I still play occasionally though.

    YouTube sharing’s great news!
I think I’ll cave in and get this (I bought Mirai 2 instead at first), though I thought it always had online multiplayer? I’m a bit confused.
The song sharing/creation system alongside the constraints of a tomato currency sound like a great idea to get people creating quality content, I’ve enjoyed checking out a lot of the game/anime OP/ED songs people have made over at the official site (someone’s even recreated the Legendary Theme from Guitaroo Man!). Shame it hasn’t sold awfully well though.

Nice. Hopefully other rhythm games could follow.. specially the ones with Edit.
